MCT: 33rd Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 33rd Release Blog Hop! If you have made it here from Ruthie's blog then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way please head on over to Emma's Blog for the full hop order.

I get the privilege of creating and sharing a project featuring the "Bee Happy" stamp set for the hop. So here is what I came up with!

I have been on treat project kick a bit. They are fun and Miss Emma's dies make them so easy to create.

So I took the MCT: Lollipop Holder Die and used a little bag of "Bit O' Honey" instead of a lollipop.

I then put the beautiful flower on top from MCT: Stitched Daisy. I inked the edges with Colorbox light blue ink and added clear glitter to the center.

I added two leaves to the daisy from MCT: Stitched Leaves. I inked the edges with green Colorbox ink.

I stamped on the bee trail from MCT: Live, Love, Laugh and Be Happy.

I stamped on the sentiment from the new "Bee Happy" onto the MCT: Stitched Oval Die.

I cut out the bee shadow and then stamped him on also from "Bee Happy" and "Stitched Bees & Bee Hives".  I then colored him in with Copic Markers.

I finished by adding twine around the top of the bag and a little honey comb from the new "Stitched Honey Comb" die.

Just wanted to pop in & give you an UPDATE!!! If you placed your order this morning & your inv number is between 12044 - 12194 then YOU were the LUCKY ones to get the freebie!!! CONGRATS ladies! The MCT shipping crew will include those in your pkgs! MCT: 33rd Release: Sneak Peeks Day #4

Today, is day #4 of Sneak Peeks for the My Creative Time's 33rd Release! We are sneaking "Loyal Friends, Live Love Bark & My Kids Have Paws".

Oh my goodness!! You are going to love, love, love the sneaks today! Emma has come up with the cutest little puppy dog dies!! I love them to pieces!!

So here is what I came up with-

I thought this sentiment would pair up perfectly with the MCT: Treat Slider Die.

I first stamped on the MCT: Cartoon Cloud Background stamp and then added the sentiment from the new MCT: Loyal Friends.

I then added grass from MCT: Stitched Grass Die. I had to cut it down a bit to fit on the treat box and not cover up too much of the sky. I added American Craft's twine to it and a tiny heart from MCT: 4x4 Journal Die and More.

Next, I added the dog house and cute dog also from MCT: Loyal Friends. I added the heart he is holding in his mouth from MCT: Stitched Sweethearts and XOXO's dies. I then stamped on the paw print from MCT: Live Love Bark onto the circle die cut from Loyal Friends.

Believe it or not they make Scooby Snacks! They are graham crackers in the shape of dog biscuits. They are the perfect treat for these cute little boxes. I think if I make more I will try to find little bags to go over the bottom box part. I was surprised to find these at the local Dollar General Store. So glad I did!

MCT: 33rd Release: Sneak Peeks Day #3

Today, is day #3 of Sneak Peeks for the My Creative Time's 33rd Release! We are sneaking "Stitched Honeycomb dies", "Bee Happy & Stitched Bees" & "Beehive dies".

Miss Emma has come up with the sweetest little bees and dies to go along with them!! You are absolutely going to love these sets the design team is sneaking today!

For my sneak, I used "Bee Happy" along with the "Stitched Bee Dies

These bees are just too cute!! I love that they can be made so fast with this set. I colored my bees with Copic markers and added clear glitter to their wings. I also chalked their cheeks and added some white gel pen accents.

I needed some flowers to go along with the bees, so I created a trio of pink flowers using MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves. I also added clear glitter to their centers.

The grass was cut using MCT: Stitched Grass

I stamped on the sentiment from "Bee Happy" onto a banner from MCT: Vintage Label Dies.

The little treat box comes from SVG Cutting Files and the candy tube is from Martha Stewart's Halloween Collection from last year. I got them for super cheap after Halloween. So if you have been looking for some that is a great time to stock up.

I finished it by adding Skittles to the candy tube and twine at the top.

A simple and easy project that you can brighten someone's day with!

MCT: 33rd Release: Day #2 Sneak Peeks

Today, is day #2 of Sneak Peeks for the My Creative Time's 33rd Release! We are sneaking "Surf's Up and "Sit Back and Relax".

Here is what I came up using these two wonderful new sets!

First card I created using the "Sit Back and Relax Set".

.

On the base of the card I used MCT: Build A Scripty & Watercolor Background Stamp Set.

I then cut out the circles using MCT:  Bunch of Fun Circle Dies and MCT: Lost at Sea Stamp Set.

Once again I used the Build A Script stamp on the aqua circle.

I cut out the large red heart using MCT: Sweethearts and XOXO's dies.

These cutie patootie flip flops are from the new "Sit Back and Relax" set. They are going to be perfect for all your fun summer projects. I added a small heart to each one from MCT: 4x4 Journal Die & More.

I stamped on the sentiment from the same set onto a banner die cut from MCT: Vintage Stitched Label Dies. I cut out two small hearts from MCT: Stitched Layering Dies.

I finished the card by added a few blingy jewels to the flip flops and hearts.

For my second card, I have a wave card I created using the "Surf's Up Set".

I got this wave shaped card from Kadoodlebug Designs as a freebie a few months back. The surfer girl comes from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons. I added a cute little flower to her hair from MCT: Way To Go Stamp set. I cut out the flower center from MCT: Just Tags. I added a Peachy face from The Moodies Stamp Set.

Her totally tubular surf board is a new die and stamp from the "Surf's Up Set".  It will be so fun to use with all your beach themed creations.

I created the tropical flower using MCT: Flower Petals and MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves.

The sentiment is stamped on a banner die from MCT: Vintage Stitched Labels.

My Creative Time: Inspiration Wednesday

Hi, today is Inspiration Wednesday over at My Creative Time.

I was inspired by a photograph I saw on Pinterest . It is an amazing shot and gave me the idea to create a light house card.  Which is a great project to make since Miss  Emma  has the perfect stamp set to go with it.

I found a free light house cut file from SVG Cutting Files. I first created the card base by adhering two shadows of the light house together. I used a white gel pen to add stitching on the outside of the base.

I then cut out all the pieces of the light house using Recollection's card stock. Once I got it put together, I took my white gel pen and added a few accents to each piece.

I stamped on the sentiment from My Creative Time's Lost at Sea Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

I then added gray twine from my stash around the light house. Then I added a small heart from My Creative Time's Stitched Heart Layering.

I finished the card by adding glossy accents to the water and then putting clear glitter on top to make it sparkle.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a wonderful day!! For more amazing design team inspiration please head on over to Miss Emma's Blog!

PKS: Stamp on a Happy Face: Crayon Wreath

Hi, Peachy Friends!

Today I have a crayon wreath to share with you today!

I created this for my oldest son's teacher as a thank you gift! She has been an amazing teacher and I wanted to show my appreciation.

I first started out with a 12" ring I purchased at Michael's and added some measuring tap ribbon. Then I hot glued the crayons all over the wreath. I used four boxes of Crayola's 24 count boxes. Before hand, I separated them into the colors of the rainbow.

It was so nice to dust off my Cricut since I haven't used it in a bit. All the cuts were Cricut except the chalk board. It comes from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons. The bus, ABC's/123's, apple, glue, scissors, school house, books, bus, and crayon all came from the Cricut Recess cart. The paper is from Locker Talk. The teacher's name comes from Paper Lace.

On the glue bottle I used PKS: Lucy's ABC's and 123's Outlines. I used PKS: Retro-Bet Round on the books and the bus.

The cute little worm as well as the "grade sentiment" comes from PKSC-8 August 2012 SOTM kit. The worm's face is from the new PKS: Clowning Around Face Assortment. I know it is meant for clowns but I thought it made an adorable worm face.

I used PKS: The Moodies from the first little girl on the bus. I used PKS: Sweet and Innocent for the boy in red. I used PKS: Simple Simons for the boy in the orange. For the last girl, I used PKS: Princess face assortment.  I just love having my peachy faces on hand to use especially when there are little cuts involved. My Peachies made it so easy to stamp on the faces, instead of trying to cut out teeny tiny pieces.

Once I had all my pieces put together how I wanted, I glued them onto the wreath.

Other products used:
Copic Markers
Chalk Ink
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Recollection's and Colorbok Card Stock
My Creative Time Stitched Vintage Label Die
My Creative Time Never Be Lost Die Set (bus wheels)
White and Black Gelly Roll Pen

It is a bit time consuming to create this with all the cuts and details. Though it is so worth it in the end. I had so much fun creating this with so many different Peachy Keen Stamps.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope I have given you some inspiration on how to use your Peachies in a different way!

Happy Crafting!

My Creative Time: Whatever Wednesday

Good morning! Today is Whatever Wednesday over at the My Creative Time blog. We can create whatever our hearts desires to share with you! So I created a thank you card for my son's bus driver, Ms. C. She is an amazing person and I know my son is always in good hands with her.

For the base of the card, I used MCT: 4x4 Journal Die and More.

To create the road and grass, I used MCT: Stitched Bracket Dies. I used the MCT: Way To Go Stamp set for the little flowers.

For the little bus, I used Peachy Keen Stamps: School Bus and Lunch Stamp Set. For the little boy sticking his head out of the bus, I used Peachy Keen Stamps: Funny Farm Stamp set and his face is from their Sweet and Innocent Face Assortment.

I finished the card by using a couple of Dollar Tree sequins.

Other Products Used:
Copic Markers
White Gel Pen
Inkadinkadoo Chalk Ink
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Recollection's Card Stock
DCVW: Edumacation Stack: Pattern Paper

Now to share my project for the hop!

I decided to create a clown shaker card using the new PKSC-30 June Stamp of the Month Set along with the Chinese Swirls Background stamp

I first stamped the swirls with red Memento Ink onto white card stock and then colored them in with a Copic Marker. Unfortunately, my ink started to run out, so some swirls are a bit lighter than others.

I cut out the the shaker circle using My Creative Time's Bun of Fun Circles. I created the shaker part on the back using pop dots and acetate. I then stamped on the sentiment from the new stamp of the month set onto the blue card stock. I then added the star confetti I got at the Dollar Tree and adhered it to the base of the card.

I colored the clown top/bottom with Copic Markers and cut them to fit the shaker circle. Once they were adhered to the circle, I then added another circle cut also from MCT's Bunch of Fun Circles.
I finished up the card by adding white gel pen stitching and confetti stars to the corners. A simple fun birthday card!

It’s been a great few days of sharing the circus fun with you and tonight we’re winding down sneak peeks but ramping up the fun and excitement with  the adorable and versatile Little Peanut stamp set, and these new (MUST HAVE) Peachy Keen Clowning Around Faces.

\

For my project, I used all the sets from June release on it with the exception of the 1 1/8" Clown Faces. I had a lot of fun working on this card! The base of the card was cut out using My Creative Time's Surprise Pop-out card Die. I then stamped on to it using the PKS Circus Polka Dots using Versamark Ink and Recollection's White Embossing Powder.

I love the peanut! I decided to make him into a Circus Ring Master. I combined a few of the sets to create his look. I colored his eyes, nose, and mouth with Copic markers. I chalked his cheeks with Inkadinkadoo chalk ink.

I used the new Chinese Swirls background stamp on the Stitched Gift card pocket die by My Creative Time. I then stamped the sentiment onto the Vintage Stitched Label die banner by My Creative Time.

I added the faces from the Clowning Around assortment to the balloons. I colored them in with Copic Markers and added white gel pen accents. The balloons are from My Creative Time's Stitched Party Dies.

I then stamped and paper pieced the elephant from the Clown Car and Elephant set. I colored the hat using Copic Markers as well.

I finished by adding the ticket and sentiment from the It's Showtime set. I also added a banner from My Creative Time's Stitched Party Dies.

My Creative Time: Designer Challenge-Masculine Theme

With Father’s day this month, today’s My Creative Time challenge is to make a MASCULINE THEMED card. Anything “guyish” – manly color palette, favorite sport, dad’s favorite chair, etc.

So here is what I came up.

I found this file at the Lori Whitlock shop and thought it would be perfect for the challenge. Plus, it would be a great Father's day card as well!

Once I got all of the pieces cut out, I used a Cuttlebug and the Argyle folder to emboss the vest. I then added white gel pen stitching to the sides.

For the pockets, I used My Creative Time's Stitched Goody Dies.

For the bow, I used the My Creative Time's Fun Sized Scallop Stitched Bow die. I cut the scallops off to make it look more like a man's bow tie.

I then finished by adding the sentiment from My Creative Time's Lost at Sea stamp set onto a banner from My Creative Time's Vintage Stitched Label Die.

Well that's my card! Thank you so much for stopping by!! I hope you will all join in on the challenge!

For more design team inspiration please head on over to Emma's blog.

Peachy Keen Stamps: June Sneak Peeks Day #2

It's day 2 of Peachy Keen Stamp's circus fun release!!
Today, we’re bringing you samples of our creations made with the Elephant Parade and It’s Showtime stamp sets.   Images in these two great sets invoke all the excitement of the circus.  From the cutest elephants you've EVER seen to tickets and big top tents, along with some great coordinating sentiments, these sets will be GREAT as you plan, prepare and create your Summer projects!

I found these cute little popcorn boxes at Party City and thought they would make a great project with this release. I first stamped, paper pieced, and colored the elephant from "Elephant Parade". I then added glossy accents and clear glitter to the tail. I finished by added white gel pen accents to it as well as chalk ink. He reminds me so much of Dumbo!

I then stamped and paper pieced the ticket from "It's Showtime". Then I added the sentiment to it from the same set. I had to split up the word "showtime" so it would fit onto the ticket.

I cut out the red shape and circle from My Creative Time's Bunch of Fun Circles. I embossed the yellow circle with the Cuttlebug Christmas Stars. I then added sequins from the Dollar Tree. Just add popcorn and enjoy the show!
PRIZE ALERT
For your chance to win the stamp sets being showcased tonight,  just leave a comment.  Want even more chances to win?   Be sure to leave comments on the PKS Blog, as well as our designer blogs and you”ll get one entry for each comment!  Winner will be announced in tomorrow’s sneak peek blog post on The Peachy Keen Stamps Blog.
