Hi and welcome to day one of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 46th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the new Stitched Squares Inside and Out dies and the Fangtastic Day stamp set.
I first started out by cutting out the Milk Carton Die in black Recollection's card stock. I then cut out another milk carton in the spider web pattern paper. I cut off the ends of the spider web carton and adhered the part that was left onto my original milk carton.
I then stamped and colored the cutest Dracula ever from the new freebie stamp set for this release, Fangtastic Day. I colored his face and clothes with Copic markers. I didn't have a black Copic marker, so I just used a Crayola one for his hair. Then I chalked his cheeks and added white gel pen accents. I finished by cutting him out with the coordinating die.
I pop dotted him onto two layers of squares cut with the new Stitched Squares Inside and Out dies. I used Vellum to still show the pattern paper behind Dracula. I added four spiders to the corners from the Wicked Fun dies to frame him.
I stamped on the sentiment also Fangtastic Day onto the vellum Fun Stitched Tag die cut using Versmark ink along with Recollection's Snow Embossing Powder. Then I layered it onto another tag from the Mini Chalkboard Tags stamp set. I finished the tags by adding a little bat onto the vellum tag. I clipped the little tags to my milk carton with a Recollection's mini clothes pin.
