My Creative Time: Scrapping The Little Things

Hi, today is Scrapping the Little Things over on the My Creative Time Blog. I have created a Smash Book page using one of the photos from my weekend in Paris. I can not believe it has been over ten years since I was there. Time definitely has flown. That day was so very hot!! I remember the people selling bottled water below the Eiffel tower making  a lot of money. Even though it was hot, we climbed the tower as far as you could. Many were taking the first elevator. So grateful that I got to have an amazing experience in Paris that I will never forget.

On my page, I have used this month's stamp of the month, Springtime in ParisIf this set has been on your wish list, you can pick this set up here at a discount price HERE! This set will be on sale for the entire month of August! The sale will end on August 31, 2015 @ 12:00am PST!

I first matted my picture with a couple of different card stocks. I wasn't too happy that the picture didn't print very well with the effects I had added onto it from Picmonkey. Though that's what you get when you use a cheap printer. I added the word "love" onto the picture from the Family Is Everything Stamp Set. I love the font!! Then I added the fun little stitching at the top using a die from the new Too Cute Too Spook Stamp Set.

Before I added the matted picture onto my page, I stamped on the word "Paris" from the Springtime in Paris set and accented it with stamps from the Build A Postcard Stamp Set. The lines I added the bottom of the page were also from the Build A Postcard Stamp Set. Instead of writing everything in, I added a few stamps from the Springtime in Paris as well as the date using the Type Calendar Stamp Set. I think I will add some more lines when I go back to write in a few things.

To create my embellishment, I layered the Stitched Doily Die in vellum along with the pink card stock Bunch of Stitched Doily Die. I used my Cricut to cut a circle that would fit just how I wanted in the doilies. I used another beautiful stamp from the Springtime in Paris set to create a pretty background for the tower die cut. I stamped and embossed the tower also from this set using Recollection's Gold embossing powder. I added a pretty Jr. Rolled Flower to the center of the tower. Once I had everything adhered to my page, I finished it by adding some mini gold sequins all over the page.

Well that's my project. If you don't have the Springtime in Paris set, I highly recommend that you add this beautiful set to your MCT collection. Plus, you still have time grab it at a wonderful price. The sale will end on August 31, 2015 @ 12:00am PST!

MCT: 46th Edition Release: Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the My Creative Time: 46th Edition Release blog hop!

If you have made it here from Cindy's blog then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way please head on over to Emma's Blog for the full hop order.

Today, I am showcasing the adorable new Prehistoric Holiday’s stamp set  along with some of my other favorite MCT products. I just love this cute little dino and he looks so cute with the little spikes I added as well.

I used the new Stitched Squares Inside and Out dies to create the base of my card and one of the mats. I then used the 4x4 Journal Die to create the background for my little dino scene. Then I matted them both with orange Recollection's card stock.

I first added my thought bubble to my scene using the Large Cloud Bubble Edge die. Then I flipped it to create the dirt on the ground for my scene. Easy Peasy! I stamped on the sentiment from the new Prehistoric Holiday’s stamp set onto my thought bubble.

I stamped and colored the cute little dinosaur, the palm trees, and the little clumps of grass with Copic markers. I wanted to spice up the dino, so I knew I would have to fussy cut him out. To create his spikes, I used a Stitched Starburst Die and then colored them with Copic markers to match the him. I added white gel pen accents to his feet and eyes. I finished him by adding a tiny heart to match the sentiment from the Seasonal Greetings Stamp set

I cut out the sun's circle for the face using the Bunch of Fun Circles and then stamped on the face from the new Too Cute Too Spook stamp set. I accented his eyes with a white gel pen and then chalked his cheeks. Then I layered the circle onto the sunburst from the Build A Banner Stamp set

I pop dotted the sun, the dino, and the tree top onto the card. I finished by adding a cute little heart on the speech bubble from the Sky Is the Limit stamp set and some sequins.

Hi and welcome to day one of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 46th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the new Prehistoric Holiday’s stamp set

For my card base and mats, I used the new Stitched Squares Inside and Out dies. They make creating a card a cinch. I cut out a vellum square so that the pattern paper behind him still showed through. I used the fun new stitches die from the new Too Cute To Spook stamp set to embellish the vellum square and to help adhere it down.

I stamped and colored the cutie patootie little dinosaur from the new Prehistoric Holiday’s stamp set with Copic markers. Then I cut him out with the coordinating dies. Love not having to fussy cut the images all the time. I then stamped the sentiment also from this set using Versamark ink along with Recollection's snow embossing powder. I pop dotted my little dino onto the vellum square and finished by adding a few blue mini sequins.

Hi and welcome to day 2 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 46th Edition Release. Today we are showcasing a super cute Halloween set called Too Cute Too Spook

I first cut out two Polka Dotted Vellum pieces using the Mini Gift Bag die from the Chalkboard Birthday Stamp and die set. . I adhered them together to create the full little bag. This die is a must have!! I love how easy it is to put together.

I stamped and colored the cute little mummy with Copic markers from the new Too Cute Too Spook. I also chalked his cheeks just a tiny bit. I added the tiny heart that I cut out using the glasses die from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp set. After I was finished with the mummy, I cut out the Just Tags die layers. I added the sentiment also from the new set on the tag with Versamark ink and Recollection's black Embossing Powder. MCT: 46th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 1

Hi and welcome to day one of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 46th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the new Stitched Squares Inside and Out dies and the Fangtastic Day stamp set.

I first started out by cutting out the Milk Carton Die in black Recollection's card stock. I then cut out another milk carton in the spider web pattern paper. I cut off the ends of the spider web carton and adhered the part that was left onto my original milk carton.

I then stamped and colored the cutest Dracula ever from the new freebie stamp set for this release, Fangtastic Day. I colored his face and clothes with Copic markers. I didn't have a black Copic marker, so I just used a Crayola one for his hair. Then I chalked his cheeks and added white gel pen accents. I finished by cutting him out with the coordinating die.

I pop dotted him onto two layers of squares cut with the new Stitched Squares Inside and Out dies. I used Vellum to still show the pattern paper behind Dracula. I added four spiders to the corners from the Wicked Fun dies to frame him.

I stamped on the sentiment also Fangtastic Day onto the vellum Fun Stitched Tag die cut using Versmark ink along with Recollection's Snow Embossing Powder. Then I layered it onto another tag from the Mini Chalkboard Tags stamp set. I finished the tags by adding a little bat onto the vellum tag. I  clipped the little tags to my milk carton with a Recollection's mini clothes pin.

My Creative Time: Inspire Me Wednesday

Hi today is Inspire Me Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog. We are creating projects that we were inspired either from another project, a picture, or anything really. I was inspired by a little lady bug outfit my daughter was wearing. Since she is still little it made me think of the oh so cute onesie die. I thought the little lady bugs would look so cute on there.

I first cut out a card using the adorable Hello Baby Stamp Set . I then cut out a red card stock onesie to layer onto the card. I cut out the bottom of the onesie from the set and adhered it to the bottom. For the little scallop ruffles at the top I used the ice cream die from the You Make Live Sweet Stamp set. It worked out perfectly.

I stamped as well as cut out the lady bugs, the flowers, and the leaves from the Hey There Little Lady stamp set. If you don't have this set yet, I think it is a must have. I colored each little bug, leave, and flower with Crayola markers. I then stamped the sentiment also from the Hey There set onto a Fun Stitched Tag die. I finished by adding a some sequins all around the onesie.

Here is the outfit that inspired my project.

My Creative Time: Thoughtful Thursday

Hi, today is Thankful Thursday over on the My Creative Time Blog. We are creating projects to let someone know we are thinking of them. So I created a sympathy card for someone who lost their fur baby.

For the base of my card I used one of my go to sets, Stitched Rectangular Frame dies. I cut the cute little puppy dog out using one of the dies from the Loyal Friends Stamp set. I then added the adorable Peachy Keen Stamps: Black Eyed Critters face and added white gel pen accents. I used the Stitched Leaves die to create the wings out of Vellum paper. I added the cute little heart by cutting out the little heart glasses from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp set

I first added the three little clouds using the thought bubble also from the Loyal Friends Stamp set.  I then measured where I would like the hallo to go above the puppy dog. Once I marked it, I stamped on the zero from the largest Alpha Pack stamp set with Versamark ink along with Recollection's Snow embossing powder. Then I adhered my puppy dog onto the clouds.

I stamped on the sentiment onto the a Vintage Stitched Label die. I finished by adding some ribbon along with some pearlized sequins from my stash.
