Hi and welcome to the My Creative Time: 44th Edition Release Blog Hop.
If you have made it here from Cindy's blog then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way please head on over to Emma's Blog for the full hop order.
Today, I am showcasing the beautiful new Bunch of Stitched Doily dies along with some of my other favorite MCT products.
I've notice lately that burlap and lace are a big trend in weddings the last few years. So that got me thinking of the beautiful new doilies. Which I decided it would be fun to make a wedding gift combining the two.
I first cut out both Tag die designs in the burlap paper from DCVW. Then I cut out a circle in the banner tag using one of the smaller circles from the Bunch of Fun Circles dies. I folded the banner tag in half and hot glued it onto the scalloped edge tag to create my wine tag. So fun and simple to do.
Then I used one of the Jr. Rolled Flowers along with the leaves from the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves dies to add a pretty embellishment at the top of the tag.
I cut out a doily using the Stitched Doily die and adhered it onto the tag. Then I layered two more doilies onto the original stitched doily using the new Bunch of Stitched Doily dies. The combination of them all together is just gorgeous.
I stamped and colored the pretty wedding cake from the new Wishing Both the Best stamp set. I added Stickles to the flowers to make them shimmer. I then added the two little love hearts also from this set onto the cake. I then stamped the sentiment onto the Vintage Stitched Label die.
I added two pearl sequins from my stash and then added it to the wine bottle.
