Hi and welcome to day 1 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time's 42nd Edition Release. Today we are showcasing the new fabulous stamp set "You're My Hero" along with the amazing new "Stitched Stars" dies. They blend perfectly together!! So I decided to create a wonderful star shape card combining the two!
I first created my card base using the largest star die along with Recollection's Kraft card stock. Then using washi tape, I taped down the next largest star and then used it as a template for the white gel pen stitching. I used the next size to cut out my pattern paper.
I then created the small Scallop Stitched Rosette using red Recollection's card stock to some what match the pattern paper. I then used a die from the Build A Banner Kit to create the background image for the tiny star also from the new star dies. I added glossy accents on top of the star and then sprinkled clear glitter on it to give it some sparkle.
I stamped the sentiment from the new "You Are My Hero" stamp set on to the largest banner from the Trio Stitched Banner die set.
I then tied some yellow American Crafts twine at the top and added a red sequin to the middle to complete the card.
