When I saw these new tags I saw them in a couple different ways. For my first idea, I thought it looked like a present with a big bow on top. I cut out two of the inside tag layers in blue and orange card stock. I then stamped the
Stripey Background Stamp II onto the blue card stock and cut off the top of the tag. I then proceeded to cut off the bottom of the orange tag. I glued them onto the outside layer tag and added on a piece for the top of the present that was cut out using the
Vintage Stitched Label Die. Then I used the smallest banner from the
Trio Stitched Banner Dies to create the ribbon on the side of the present.
I stamped the adorable little dinosaur from the
Prehistoric Holidays Stamp Set and cut him out with a coordinating die. I colored the spots in with a Copic marker. I accented them with a white Gelly Roll pen and clear Wink of Stella. I then stamped his little party hat and colored it in with Copic markers as well. I then cut the hat out with a coordinating die and added some Wink of Stella to it.
I stamped the birthday sentiment onto a smaller tag using the
Teeny Tag Greetings. Then I tied it around the tag using American Crafts Twine. I pop-dotted the dinosaur and added him to the tag.
I finished by adding silver sequins to the tag.

The second way I saw this tag was that it look as though a flower was on the top. I created the base of the flower by cutting out one tag and then flipping the die to cut out the other side. Then I layered on the petals, leaves, and flower center from the
Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies on the base flower. I added a bit of clear Wink of Stella to the leaves.
I stamped on the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, also from the new tag set. Then I stamped the little floral image from the
Cute Tag Set. I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out with a coordinating die. I added clear Wink of Stella to it as well.
I finished the tag by adding a couple of clear Pearlized sequins from my stash.
