Peachy Keen Stamps: Face Day

Hi, today I'm sharing a Peachy Keen Stamps: Face Day project. I know Christmas has just passed but I wanted to share this nativity scene I created using Kathy's fabulous face assortments. They really helped bring these paper pieces to life!

I found this little nativity barn last year on clearance after Christmas. I couldn't wait to finally use it for this year!

For my scene I used cut files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons called Nativity 1 and Nativity 2

For the baby Jesus, I used PKS-Just Baby Faces Assortment. I colored his eye lids in with a Copic marker and drew his little strand of hair on with a Micron Pen.

For the angel, I used the cute PKS-Cherub Face Assortment. I also colored her eyelids in with a Copic marker and then added Stickles on top. I accented her eyes with a white gel pen. Her halo was cut out using gold foil paper but just doesn't show in the picture unfortunately. I also used Stickles on her wings to make them shine.

For the banner I used My Creative Time's Vintage Stitched Label Die to cut out the sentiment.

For the cool camel, I used PKS-Here Kitty Kitty Face Assortment. I accented his eyes with a white gel pen and colored in his nose with a Copic marker. I extended the mouth using a Micron pen.

For Wiseman #1 (grey beard), I used PKS-Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment. For Wiseman #2 (brown beard), I used PKS-Retro Face Assortment. For Wiseman #3 (brown beard), I used PKS-Winter Wonderland Face Assortment. I colored each one of their eyes in with different Copic markers. It was so nice to use these assortment again since I had the chance to use them in awhile.

For Joseph's face, I used PKS- Laughy Taffy Face Assortment. For Mary's face, I used PKS-Princess Face Assortment. I colored in Joseph's mouth and eyes in with Copic markers. I use a white gel pen to fill in Mary's eyes and colored her lips in with a Copic marker.

For the Shepard, I stamped on his face using PKS-Sweet and Innocent Face Assortment. I colored his eyes in with a Copic marker.

For the adorable little sheep, I used PKS-Teddy Bear Face Assortment. I colored in his eye lids and mouth with Copic markers. I accented his eyes with a white gel pen. I just love how I could use a bear face on my sheep. Love how these faces are so versatile!

For the cute little donkey, I stamped on his face using PKS-Medium Critter Faces. I accented his eyes with a white gel pen. These animals are just too cute and really bring a great element to the scene.

This project was so much fun to create and I don't have the fear of little ones breaking it. Always nice to use these fabulous assortments in a fun new way!

My Creative Time: Tag It Tuesday

Hi, today is Tag It Tuesday over on the My Creative Time Blog.

I have a cute little tag to share with you all that goes along with a yummy Frozen "Olaf" treat. Every time I see this sentiment from the Snow Buddies Stamp Set I can't help but think of Olaf!

For the tag, I used MCT: Stitched Round Tab, Arrow, and Tag Dies. I cut two layers of tags out in the sparkly white Colorbok paper. I cut the second tag layer down using MCT: Fun Stitched Edges. I then traced the tag die onto the aqua card stock to create a mat for the tag and cut it out.

The adorable now man was stamped and cut out using MCT: Winter Snowman dies. I also cut out his scarf and hat using the same dies. I colored the nose, arms, and scarf bottom in with Copic markers. I made his cheeks a bit rosy with Inkadinkado: Chalk Ink.

I created a label that would fit the sentiment using MCT: Stitched Rectangular Frames dies. I then stamped on it the sentiment also from MCT: Snow Buddies Stamp Set. I love all the adorable sentiments in this set that match perfectly with the super adorable snowmen. On the back of the tag I stamped the "To" and "From" MCT: Just Tags stamp and die set. I then adhered it to the top of the treat! Now it is ready to brighten someone's day!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!

Peachy Keen Stamps: Trendsetting

Happy Wednesday!! Today I am sharing a trendspotting project with you all today.

I've notice that neon colors are a big trend for the Christmas season this year. I can not say I would personally decorate with these bright colors but I thought they would look great on a cute Peachy snowman.

I stamped and paper pieced the adorable PK-1413 Smile Snowman using Recollection's neon card stock. I used a Copic marker to color in the arms and outline the snowman. I chalked his cheeks with Inkadinkado chalk ink.

For the buttons, I stamped and paper pieced them from PKSC-23 November 2013. The Smile Snowman set does come with two pom-pom stamps you could use but I wanted to change things up a bit by using the buttons.

I used Versamark ink and Recollection's snow embossing powder to stamp on one of my favorite Peachy backgrounds, PK-1349 Woodland Birch, onto the neon blue card stock. I then cut it out with a My Creative Time: Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.

The sentiment was stamped on the speech bubble from PKSC-24 December 2013.  I then added the little stars using Hero Arts: neon yellow ink. They are also from the December 2013 set.

I cut the Colorbok: white glitter paper with a Lawn Fawn: Hillside Border die to create the snowy hills.

I then added a fun neon snowflake embellishment. The snowflakes are die cuts from My Creative Time. I added a larger button also from the November 2013 stamp set to the center to match the snowman.

Well I hope I have given you some inspiration on using these non-traditional colors in your holiday projects using Peachy Keen Stamps.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!! Have a wonderful crafty day!!

MCT: Day 1 of 5 days of Christmas

Good morning!! I'm so excited for day 1 of My Creative Time: 5 days of Christmas!! We are sharing some fun Christmas projects created with MCT products and Miss Emma is giving away some amazing prizes!!

I have a simple holiday greeting card to share today.

For the base of the card, I used MCT: Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.

For the ornament base I used MCT: Bunch of Fun Circles. After cutting out the gold circle I embossed it was a Darice embossing folder. I love how it turned out!

For the bow I used MCT: Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow. I layered it with some red twine I had in my stash to make it look like it was hanging.

I wrapped a strip of Paper Studio: Vellum around the base of the card.

I used Versamark ink and Recollection's Gold Glitter Embossing powder to stamp on the sentiment from MCT: Winter Cheer Stamp set.

I finished by adding a couple of Recollection's gold enamel dots to the Vellum.

A super simple card that would be very easy to recreate for the holiday season!
