My Creative Time: Tag It Tuesday

Hi and welcome to another Tag It Tuesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. I have a fun back to school tag to share today.

A die from the Tag Die Layers was used to create most of the pencil tag. To create the scallop edge on the yellow tag, an edge from the Fun Stitched Edges was used. The sharpened pencil was created by cutting another tag down with the corner of a More Stitched Rectangular Die.  The pencil tip was created the same way and then cut down with a circle die from the More Stitched Circle Dies.  A die from the Vintage Stitched Label Dies was used to cut out the silver piece of foil paper.

The "Welcome Back!" sentiment and the little apple are both from the Love To Learn Dies + Stamps. The little face that was stamped onto the apple is from The Last Piece to Our Family Stamp Set.  The little face was also covered with Glossy Accents. The label they are all placed onto is from the Stitched Zig Zag Dies

My Creative Time: To Die For Tuesday: Animal Treat Boxes

Hello and welcome to another To Die For Tuesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. We are showing you new way to use Emma's amazing dies. Today I have some cute animal treat boxes I've created using the Stitched Bat Die and the Long Treat Box.

The Long Treat Box was used to cut out the pig body. The Stitched Bat Die was cut out in the same pink card stock as the treat box. The head of the bat was cut off using the More Stitched Circle Dies.  The inside of the ears are die cuts from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies.  The eyes from the Bat Sentiments were stamped onto white card stock using embossing ink and black embossing powder. The eyes were cut out using a die from the You Are Spot On Stamp Set.  The eyes were pop dotted onto the face. An oval was cut out using the Scallop Stitched Oval Dies for the snout. Two little black circles for the snout were cut out using the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies.  The hooves/legs were cut out and created with the Vintage Stitched Label Dies.  The little tail was created by cutting a small strip of pink card stock and curling it with a quilling tool.

The Long Treat Box was used to cut out the cat body. The Stitched Bat Die was cut out in the same gray card stock as the treat box. The head of the bat was cut off using the More Stitched Circle Dies.  The inside of the ears are die cuts from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies.  The eyes from the Bat Sentiments were stamped onto green card stock using embossing ink and black embossing powder. Part of the eyes had to be colored in with a White Gelly Roll Pen. The eyes were cut out using a die from the You Are Spot On Stamp Set. The eyes were pop dotted onto the face.

The nose is a heart from Stitched Zig Zag Dies.  The mouth is part of the tassel die cut from the Grad Night Stamp Set.  The little cheek circles are from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies. The whiskers are from the Classy Girl Accessories.  The white center of the cat is the label die from the Long Treat Box.  The arms are die cuts from the Fun Vertical Greetings Stamp Set.  A black marker was used to draw lines for the paws. The two ovals were cut of for the feet using the Scallop Stitched Oval Dies.  The circles on the feet are from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies & the hearts are from the Carved Heart Stamp Set.  The tail was created using one of the Fun Stitched Edges and then it was curled a bit with a quilling tool.

My Creative Time: 70th Edition Release: Blog Hop

If you have made it here from Brigit's blog then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way, please head on over to Miss Emma's blog for the full hop order.

Today I am showcasing the new Spooky & Creepy Night Stamp Set.

The little treat box was cut out of orange card stock using the Stitched Favor Box Die. The scary pumpkin face from the Spooky & Creepy Night was stamped onto the Stitched Favor Box Die using embossing ink and black embossing powder. The tab of the favor box die was cut out four times in brown card stock to cover the orange tab to make it look like the stem of the pumpkin. The little leaves are from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies. The little curls were created by cutting tiny strips of green card stock and using a quilling tool to curl them. The little ghost and his face are both from the Spooky & Creepy Night. The sentiment from the Bat Sentiments (Release Freebie), was stamped onto the ghost as well. Then the plastic covering was removed from a bread tie wire. The wire was curled a bit and then glued onto the back of the ghost die cut. The little wire was stuck in between one of the tabs for easy removal when opening the treat box. I also wanted to create the look of the ghost floating above the little pumpkin.

My Creative Time: 70th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 4

Hi and welcome to the fourth and final day of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 70th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the ever so adorable Stitched Bat Die & Bat Sentiments (Release Freebie). These two MCT products together are so darn cute!! I just love this little bat! I decided to make a little treat box with the bat. I love how it turned out! These will be so fun to give away for Halloween!

The treat box was cut out using the Treat Holder Die.  The medium size rosette was created using the Scallop Stitched Rosette Dies.  A spider web was added to the rosette that was cut out using a die from the Wicked Fun Dies.  The sentiment from the Bat Sentiments (Freebie) was stamped onto the Small Treat Label Die cuts.

Two bat die cuts were cut out using the new Stitched Bat Dies.  The two bat die cuts were then dissected to create pieces that will glued onto the Treat Holder box.

The two bat wings were glued onto the back tabs and the head/body was glued onto the back of the box. The cute bat face from the Bat Sentiments (Freebie) was stamped onto the bat die cut first in embossing ink and white embossing powder. Then the face was stamped again onto white card stock with embossing ink and black embossing ink. The eyes were cut out using a small circle die from the You Are Spot On Stamp Set.  The little pink cheek circles are die cuts from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies.  A cute little bow was added to the bat die cut that was cut out using the Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow Die

If you didn't want the white circle around the eye, the largest flower center die from the  Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Die set cuts it out perfectly.

The little treat box was filled with crinkled paper and yummy candy for a spooktacular Halloween treat!

Hi and welcome to day 2 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 70th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the new Large Scallop Stitched Rosette Die. I love that Emma is releasing a new bigger rosette die! So I decided to create a project that showcased the different sizes of rosette dies with a fun snowman ornament.

The Scallop Stitched Rosettes along with the Large Scallop Stitched Rosette were cut out in thick white card stock. Each one was put together with a Hot Glue Gun. The snowman's hat is from the I'm A Lucky Girl Stamp Set.  The holly leaves on the hat are from the Holidays Tags Stamp and Die Set.  The eyes are enamel dots that were colored black with a Sharpie. The orange nose is the pencil tip die cut from the Love To Learn Die and Stamp Set.  It was cut down to make it look more like a carrot tip. The mouth is a die cut from the Best Bots Forever Stamp Set.  The buttons are die cuts from the Stitched Button Dies. The arms are die cuts from the Fun Tweet Me Dies.  Part of the tree limb was cut off to make them more like snowman arms. A piece of red felt was cut and glued on to create the red scarf. Then a piece of gold twine was glued to the back to make the snowman able to hang on a tree. Now I have a cute snowman ornament for the upcoming holiday season.
