My Creative Time: Inspire Me Wednesday : I Love You More Than Candy Corn!

Hello and welcome to another Inspire Me Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog. I was inspired by some candy corn I saw at the store to create this cute little card. I just love how cute the candy corns look on the card.

The little candy corns were stamped and cut out using the coordinating die from the Candy Corn Kisses set. Both images were colored in with Copic markers. The bigger candy corn was stamped with a Peachy face and the mouth was colored in with Copic markers. A face from the You Make Life Sweet set was stamped onto the smaller one. Their little cheeks were chalked with chalk ink.

The scallop mat was cut out using one of the Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies. The pattern paper mat was cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.  The scallop circle and pattern paper circle were both cut out using the Scalloped Stitched Circles. The sentiment is also from the Candy Corn Kisses set. The card also had a bit of twine added to it as well.

Products Used:

Copic Markers
Peachy Keen Stamps: The Adorbsies Face Stamps
Recollections Card Stock
Sn@p! Pattern Paper
American Crafts Twine

My Creative Time: 72nd Edition Release: Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the My Creative Time: 72nd Edition Release: Blog Hop. If you have made is here from Brigit's blog, then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way, please head over to Miss Emma's blog for the full hop order.

Today I am showcasing the new Gingerbread Friends along with the release freebie, Gingerbread Banner Dies. I have created a simple treat to share with you all today that would be easy to mass produce for the upcoming holiday.

The little gingerbread peeps were stamped and cut out with the coordinating dies from the Gingerbread Friends set. They were colored in with Copic markers and a white gel pen. Certain parts on the gingerbreads were covered with Glossy Accents. The Mini Stitched Lollipop die was used to cut out two pattern paper die cuts and two card stock die cuts. The pattern paper die cut was then adhered to the card stock die cut to make the holder a bit more stable since the pattern paper is quite flimsy. A green ribbon was strung through the holes on the holder and a mini lollipop was tied into it. The sentiment also from Gingerbread Friends was stamped onto a Gingerbread Banner Die cut. The banners and gingerbread peeps were then popped up with dimensional tap onto the lollipop holders.

Products Used:

Copic Markers
Front Porch Treasures Foam Mounting Tape
