My Creative Time 30th Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 30th Release Blog Hop! If you have made it here from the talented Ruthie's blog then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way please head on over to Emma's Blog for the full hop order.
Isn't this release so fantastic? I get the privilege of creating and sharing a project featuring "Hello Chickie". So here is what I came up with!

I know it is a little early for Easter but I just had to use this set to decorate the little bucket I found at the Dollar Tree.

The little girl is from SVG Cutting files and I had so much fun substituting cuts with the MCT die cuts. I used Hello Chickie for the basket and her hair bow. For the bunny wabbit I used To My Best Peep. For her dress I created a belt using I'm a Lucky Girl.

I also love that this set has so many wonderful sentiments to go along with the amazing dies.

The little chick is just too cute!! The smallest egg die fits great on the candy wrapper covers from the MCT: Treat Slider Box die.

My Creative Time: 30th Release Sneak Peeks Day #1

Good morning!! Today, is our first day of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time 30th Release!

If you are looking for the My Creative Time/Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon Blog hop please click here.

This whole release is out of this world!! Emma has done it again!!

Today, we are sneaking the Bracket Dies and Sentiments along with the Chevron Dies.

I have a card to share that I created using the Chevron dies and Bracket Sentiments.

I just love these new Chevron dies!! The possibilities are endless with them! I decided to create part of the pathway that Wall-E and Eve go on when they are on the Axiom up in space! I first cut out nine of the small chevrons on the white strip as well as nine on blue card stock. Then I just glued the blue chevrons into the white negatives.

The Wall-E and Eve were cut from a freebie from SVG Cutting Files that I received for participating in their couples blog hop a few weeks ago. I used all scrap pieces to cut them out. For Wall-E, I used a Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress ink on the pieces to make it look somewhat rusty. Instead of Eve's plant symbol, I used the smallest heart from MCT: Sweethearts and XOXO's dies. I used glossy accents on both their eyes and Eve's heart.

I stamped on the sentiment from the new Bracket Sentiments onto a banner from MCT: Vintage Stitched Label Dies.

I finished the card by added silver sequins, twine, and faux stitching.

All products used:
MCT: Chevron Dies
MCT: Bracket Sentiments
Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink
SVG Cutting Files Wall-E and Eve
Sequins from Dollar Tree
American Crafts Light Blue Twine
Glossy Accents
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Star Light Paper by Fostering Creativity
Recollections Card stock
Colorbox Light Blue Ink

Good morning!! Today we have a fun blog hop featuring beautiful projects created by the design team members from My Creative Time and Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
If you have come here from Gloria's blog, you are in the right place. If you have just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit Lisa's blog.

I have a birthday shaker card to share with all of you! I had so much fun combining PPPR cut files and MCT products!!!

For the card base, I used PPPR's Scattered Star card file. To create the shaker stars, I used Recollection's pop dots around each one and then filled them with sequins I purchased at the Dollar Tree.

The adorable little girl comes from PPPR's Fourth of July Kids. I stamped and embossed the little butterfly on her dress from MCT's Chunky Jar Accessories set. Her cute face comes from Peachy Keen Stamps: The Moodies. Then I added a birthday hat that was cut out from PPPR's Make a Wish cut files.

The balloons were cut out from MCT's Stitched Party Dies to coordinate with the card base. The little birthday banner was cut out from MCT's Fly Away with Me Stamp Set. I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from MCT's Chocolate Greetings Stamp Set.

To finish off the card, I added photo corners with sequin accents, faux stitching, and twine.

All products used:

MCT's Chunky Jar Accessories set
MCT's Stitched Party Dies

Good morning! Today is Inspirational Wednesday over at My Creative Time.

I know it is over but I wanted to share just one more project I created with Valentine's Day as my inspiration.

I created this little tag using MCT: Tag Dies for the base. Then I used the smallest button from MCT: Stitched Button Dies and a hole punch to create a cover at the top.

The adorable lion is a freebie from Too Cute By Jessica: No Lion, I love you cut file. I replaced the cut file crown with MCT: Chunky Jar Accessories crown. Then I replaced the cut file heart he is suppose to hold with the middle sized heart from MCT: Sweethearts and XOXO dies.

Next, I replaced the cut file paw hearts with the smallest heart from MCT: Sweethearts and hearts from the middle sized MCT: Snowflake die

His cute little face comes from Peachy Keen Stamps: Teddy Bear Face Assortment.

For the sentiment, I cut out and stamped it from MCT: Just Live Simply Stamp Set.

My Creative Time-Thrifty Thursday 2/13

Good morning!! Today is Thrifty Thursday over at My Creative Time

We are to create any project- card, scrapbook page, or anything, using scraps/leftovers or recycled items.

For my project I decorated two Skittles candy tubes with left over scraps for my little sweethearts.

I was lucky enough to get these 50% off at my local base shoppette since it is so close to Valentine's Day. Though they are a little over a dollar each normally. So still not very expensive. My little guys don't care much for the candy hearts but love Skittles! So these will be perfect to give them.

For the heart shakers I used MCT: Sweethearts dies, scraps, acetate paper, pop dots, and glitter. Before I put the shaker all together, I stamped on the sentiment from MCT: Once Upon a Time

To cover up the Skittles logo sticker, I cut a 2 1/2 strip of heart paper for each one and adhered it to the base. Then I I cut out coordinating edges using MCT: Fun Stitched Edges to jazz up the ends.

To finish the project, I stamped on the heart and "love you" sentiment from MCT: Once Upon a Time onto the MCT: Chunky Jar Accessories die. Then I tied it on with some Recollection's Twine.

Here is what they look like before.

You should have arrived here from Amy‘s Blog.  If not, you’ll want to make sure you hop back to Peachy Keen Stamps’ Blog to start from the beginning! Missed a stop? Don’t worry, the PKS has the full hop order!
