My Creative Time: What A Treat Wednesday

Hi, today is What A Treat Wednesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. I decided to create a fun little lollipop holder with the little pineapple from the Berry Special Stamp Set.

I first stamped and cut out the adorable little pineapple from the Berry Special Stamp Set. I stamped on the face and used a white gel pen to help mask some of the lines on the pineapple that went through the face parts. I used another die from the same set to cut out the glasses. I added white gel accents to the glasses and covered them with glossy accents.

I then cut out the Stitched Lollipop Holder in yellow card stock to match the little pineapple. I then stamped on the sentiment also from the Berry Special Stamp Set. I wanted to pop the little pineapple up off of the lollipop holder, so I created a green mini rosette using the Scallop Stitched Rosette Dies. I glued the pineapple to the center of the rosette and set it aside to string yellow ribbon through the lollipop holder. I then added the rosette to the top on the front side. I added a Pina Colada Gourmet Lollipop to the holder and then tied it together with the yellow ribbon. A simple, yet cute, little lollipop holder.

My Creative Time: Thoughtful Thursday

Hi, today is Thoughtful Thursday over on the My Creative Time blog. I wanted to create a very simple "get well" card for my aunt who is going through a tough time right now. The new Ouch Stamp was the perfect set to help complete this project.

I first cut out the large pink card stock rectangle using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies. I then layered it onto a vellum Stitched Postage Frame. I set that aside and cut two trips for the sentiment. One in the pink card stock and the other in vellum. I then used the new Ouch Stamp Set along with embossing ink and white embossing powder to add the sentiment/hearts to the vellum strip.

I used the More Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies to cut out the pretty pattern paper rectangle. I then layered the strips onto one another and glued them onto my pattern paper rectangle. I added the pattern paper to my vellum postage frame and pink card stock rectangle.

I measured and cut a card base that would go behind  the pink card stock rectangle. I finished the simple card by adding some sequins to jazz it up as well as clear Wink of Stella to the inside of the hearts.

My Creative Time: Tag It Tuesday: Aloha

Hi and today is Tag It Tuesday over on the My Creative Time blog. I created a fun tag using several wonderful MCT products. I decided to make the tag out of a none traditional tag die. I love how versatile a lot of Emma's products can be. Plus, there is plenty of room to write a message on the back of the cute little tag.

I first cut out my pattern paper Stitched "Capture" Frame . I then cut a piece of pink card stock to layer behind it and added white gel pen stitching to the edges. Before I added the pink card stock layer, I glued a piece of yellow card stock with vellum over top onto the back of the capture frame.

I stamped and cut out the adorable little fruit images from the new Berry Special Stamp Set. I colored each one in with Copic Markers and added Glossy Accents to the faces, leaves, glasses, and stems. I then added them inside the little window of the frame. I love that little pineapple with sunglasses!! So very cool but cute!

I then stamped the sentiment also from the Berry Special Stamp Set onto a die cut of the Ribbon End Banner Dies. I added it to the frame and then embellished it with a pretty flower that was cut out using the Flower Petal Dies and Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies. I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the yellow center of the flower.

I added the pink card stock layer to the back of the frame finally and cut a hole in it to string some ribbon. I then layer the cutet little Stitched Round Tab on the tag and strung the ribbon through. I finished the card by adding three little white pearl sequins to give it a bit more of sparkle.

I added one of the adorable new faces from the Berry Special Stamp Set to one of the band-aids. I too colored it with Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment and a little heart onto the last one. I then added Glossy Accents to the hearts and the face parts. I set those aside to dry to create my simple card base.

I cut out the aqua rectangle using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies. I then layered a piece of vellum and a piece of white card stock on it that were cut out using the More Stitched Rectangular Dies. I then cut out the card base to add behind the aqua rectangle. My Creative Time: 57th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 57th Edition Release! Today we are sneaking the new Ouch Stamp Set!

I'm away from my scrap stash at the moment and couldn't find the right pattern paper I wanted to use for this card. So I created my own using three of the stamps from this new wonderful Ouch Stamp Set. I then colored each image in with Copic Markers. I cut all of the layers to my card out using the Stitched Square Dies. I wanted the background paper to show through but wanted to make the Band-Aid die cut with the sentiment from the Ouch Stamp Set stand out as well. So I just added it to a couple of the Sentiment Label Dies. I then added two little heart die cuts from the Hey There Little Lady Stamp Set to the Band-Aid. I then gave them a bit of sparkle with Wink of Stella and topped them with Glossy Accents.

My Creative Time: 57th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 1

Hello and welcome to day 1 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 57th Edition Release! Today we are sneaking the fun new freebie for this release called Card Borders.

I first cut my pattern paper background out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies. Then I cut my card base out to just the size I wanted to frame the pattern paper. I wanted my pattern paper to show as much as possible, so I used a piece of vellum that was cut out using the More Stitched Rectangular Dies. I stamped the fun smaller swirl border onto the sides of the vellum using embossing powder and Versamark Ink. I then cut out another piece of card stock the same size as the vellum piece and just cut it down with the die to fit between the two borders.

I stamped and cut out the adorable little mushrooms out from the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set. I then colored them with Copic markers to somewhat match the colors in the pattern paper. I had colored the little circles with a light blue to make them look like little windows. So I finished the look by adding some Glossy Accents to them as well as a few of the other parts on the mushrooms. I added them to the card and stamped the sentiment as well. It too, came from the Home Sweet Home set. I finished the card by adding a few little sequins.

Products Used:

Copic Markers
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Simple Stories: Vintage Bliss Pattern Paper
Recollection's Card Stock and Vellum
Recollection's Snow Embossing Powder

My Creative Time: Scrapping The Little Things

Hi, today is Scrapping the Little Things over on the My Creative Time Blog. I decided to make a simple little entry for one of my Project Life pages using a cute picture of my daughter wearing her favorite hat! It used to be her brother's when he was little but she has commandeered it for herself. The best hand-me-down ever! She looked so cute wearing it and I'm glad I had snapped this photo of her wearing it! I love taking pictures of those fun little moments in life that you can
always cherish.

I first cut out the frame for the picture using the die cut from the Be Your Best Selfie Stamp Set. I then stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the frame, which also comes from the same stamp set. I cut the picture to fit behind the frame. I then layered the frame with cork paper that was cut out with the Stitched Square Dies. I then taped them onto another square die cut at angle.

I embellished the frame with a few little hearts that were cut out using the little heart dies from the Carved Heart Stamp Set. I wanted to add a bit of sparkle so I used a bit of Wink of Stella on the hearts. I wanted to have a bit of space to write a bit of journaling about the pictures. So I cut out another frame using a notecard and used the negative from it for journaling. I glued it on the back and then I accented it with little hearts as well to mirror what I had done on the front. Now I have a little scrap piece of this special little moment and memory in time.
