My Creative Time: Tag It Tuesday

Hi, today is Tag It Tuesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. I have a fun little Easter treat box that I created using the Teeny Tags Layering Dies.

The Treat Pouch Die was used to cut out one in gingham pattern paper as well as one in white card stock. They two cut outs were glued together to maker a sturdier treat pouch. A green card stock band was cut out to go around the pouch using the Stitched Belly Band Dies.  The Treat Labels were cut out of green and white card stock, layered, and then added onto the pouch.

The little chickie was cut out using a die from the Hello Chickie Stamp Set.  A little Peachy face was added to the chickie with the eyes/beak being colored in with Copic Markers. The little egg was cut out using a smaller die from the Scallop Egg Dies.  It was cut in half using an edge from the Fun Stitched Edges to look like a cracked egg. A stamp from the Pretty Spring Wreaths Stamp Set was used to create the speckles all over the little egg.

The "Happy Easter" sentiment from the Teeny Tag Holidays was stamped onto the Teeny Tags Layering Dies.  A bit of yellow twine was tied onto the tag and then the tag was added to the treat label. The label was then embellished with a couple of green dots that were cut out using a die from the You Are Spot on Stamp Set

They were glittered up with a bit of Wink of Stella. The flowers were created by combining die cuts from the Flower Petal Dies and the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies sets. My Creative Time: My Creative Time: Sneak Peeks Day 4

Hi and welcome to day 4 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 64th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the Scallop Egg Dies and the release freebie called Mini Bunny Dies.

My card for today was inspired by this card I saw on Pinterest. The pattern paper mat was cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and was matted with some light blue card stock that was cut out using a paper trimmer. Then a layer of vellum was added that was cut out using the More Stitched Rectangular Dies.  The Scallop Egg Dies were used to cut out the light blue scallop egg, the pink egg, and a white card stock egg. The dies from the Fun Vertical Greeting Stamp Set  were used to add an embellishment strips onto the pink egg. The pink egg was then cut horizontally with one of the dies from the Fun Stitched Edges.  The sentiment from the new Favorite Bunny Stamp Set was then stamped onto the bottom of the pink egg.

The little chick that was glued onto the white egg die cut was cut out using a die from the Hello Chickie Stamp Set.  The little eyes stamped on the chick are from the You Make Life Sweet Stamp Set and the beak is a die cut also from the Hello Chickie Stamp Set.  The bottom of the pink egg was glued onto the white egg die cut with the little chick. Then a small brad was placed through the pink egg and the white egg die cuts just above the scallop strip layer. The Mini Bunny Dies were cut out of white card stock and a piece of black card stock was glued underneath the eyes to make them pop. Then the bunnies were glued onto the top part of the pink egg die cut. Then brad was then covered up with a pretty blue flower that was cut out using dies from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies

My Creative Time: 64th Edition Release: Sneak Peek Day 2

Hi and welcome to day 2 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 64th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the Curly Frames Stamp Set. This set has two beautiful curly frames along with some great sentiments. You are going to love this one.

The blue and green card stock mats were cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies along with the More Stitched Rectangular Dies.  The two curly frame stamps were left on the acetate backing from the stamp set and then tapped onto the Misti to stamp them onto white card stock. Thanks to my design team sisters, I learned this is the best way to stamp these frames to match the dies. Then the sentiment was stamped into the middle. The frames were then cut out with a coordinating die from the Curly Frames Stamp Set and then added to the mats.  The flowers were cut out using dies from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies.  The leaves were cut out using the Stitched Leave Dies.  After the flowers were added to the card, Glossy Accents was added to the center of the flowers and then they were sprinkled with clear glitter. The leaves were then embellished with some silver sequins. A simple card to brighten someone's day with a great message.

My Creative Time: Weird Holiday

Hi, today is Weird Holiday day over on the My Creative Time Blog. We are to pick one of the weird holidays from this site and create a project based on them. I chose Happy Umbrella day, which is the 10th, of February. I also tied it in with Valentine's day since I don't know anyone who celebrates this weird holiday.

The little Stitched Umbrella  was cut out in red card stock, white card stock, and floral pattern paper. The pole was colored in with a Copic marker and the handle was covered with Wink of Stella. A little twine bow was added to the pole as well.

The sentiment and little hearts are from the You Are My Sunshine Stamp Set.  Wink of Stella was added to each little heart after they were glued onto the white mat. The white card stock mat, vellum mat, and floral pattern paper mat were all cut out using the More Stitched Rectangular Dies.  The red card stock mat was cut out using the Stitched Postage Frame Dies.  The mats were then all glued down to the card base that was cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies

Products Used:

Recollections: Card Stock
Paper Studio: Vellum
American Crafts: Pattern Paper & Twine
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Clear: Wink of Stella
