I love these new balloon dies!! So many wonderful possibilities! I decided to make a glitter shaker with the second to largest balloon die. It came out just how I had imagined it!! I also really like these fun new Script Word Stamps as well! You can use them like a regular sentiment or they coordinate with the balloon dies as the string.

My Creative Time: 55th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks: Day 3

Hello and welcome to day 3 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 55th Edition Release. We are celebrating Emma's birthday month with this wonderful release!! It is as amazing and grand as she is!! Today we are showcasing the new "Make A Wish Stamp Set".

I thought it would be fun to use the new candles from the Make A Wish Stamp Set along with the Stitched Pop Out Surprise Card Die.  

I cut the candles out using a die from the new set. I then colored the wick with a black marker and then cut the flame out with another die. I added Glossy Accents to the flames and then sprinkled clear glitter on top for a bit of sparkle. I finished them by adding a little twine bow to them.

I stamped on the sentiment also from the Make A Wish Stamp Set (which fit great on the card die oval). I then embellished the card by using the little confetti star dies from the set. I love how it all easily came together and all I need to do is add a gift card on the back.

My Creative Time: 55th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks: Day 1

Hello and welcome to day 1 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 55th Edition Release. We are celebrating Emma's birthday month with the amazing new release!! It is as wonderful and grand as she is!!

For today's sneak, we are showcasing the new "Greatest Handyman Stamp Set". 

My dad has a little work shop and so I thought it would be perfect to create a Father's Day card that mimicked the pegboard of tools he has using the fabulous new set. So I had to think outside of the box a bit on how I was going to create the pegboard look. I have directions on how I created my pegboard paper below if you are interested in creating your own. It was a bit time consuming but well worth it. 

I colored the tools from the Greatest Handyman Stamp Set with Copic Markers and then I added them to the card with small brads to look like they are hanging up. I then used a silver shimmer Wink of Stella on the gray parts of the tools and then added glossy accents to the handles.

My Creative Time: What A Treat Wednesday

Hi, today is What A Treat Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog. I created these fun little popsicle treats for my son to give to his classmates on the last day of school. He still has a few weeks left to go but I'm trying to get them done ahead of schedule. 

I first cut out the little tags using the Just Tag Dies. Then I created the cloud background using Tim Holtz's Distress Ink and the More Stitched Edges. Next, I created the adorable little sun from You Are My Sunshine Stamp Set. I first inked the sun's edges with an orange ink. I added the glass from the You're So Cool Stamp Set and the mouth from the You Make Life Sweet Stamp Set. I added white gel pen accents to the glasses and chalked the cheeks. I then added the sentiment also from the You're So Cool Stamp Set. I added a couple of gold sequins to the tags and then tied them to the popsicles with orange twine. A simple and fun treat to give to his classmates at the end of the year. All they have to do is freeze them and enjoy!

My Creative Time: Trending Now: Flamingos

Hi, today is Trending Now over on the My Creative Time blog. The trend we are working with today is using flamingos in our projects. You may have seen these beautiful birds used on a few projects lately. So I created a card, using the pretty flamingo stamps from the Already Miss You Stamp Set.

I wanted a pretty framed scene that really accentuated these beautiful flamingos. Once again, Emma's products made this task easy! I love how the flowers and foliage die cuts from the Already Miss You Stamp Set embellished the Scallop Stitched Oval Dies frame perfectly! I created the taller waves by using the negative from the Make A Splash die cut. I used the Stitched Postage Frame Die along with the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die to create the background frame accent and the card base. I finished the card by adding some Clear: Wink of Stella to the flowers/flamingos and a few pearlized sequins.
