My Creative Time: 68th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 3

Hi and welcome to day 3 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 68th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the new Small & Medium Pinwheels plus Pinwheel Centers (Freebie). These pinwheels are amazing and so cute!! You all are going love these!!

The pattern paper square and the yellow scallop square were cut out using the Scallop Stitched Square Dies.  The yellow scallop circle and the white circle were cut out using the new Scallop Stitched Circles that were sneaked on Monday. The new Small Stitched Pinwheel along with the new Medium Stitched Pinwheel were layered together with a gold brad with the star Pinwheel Center.  How gorgeous are those pinwheels? I love how they look! The sentiment from the Teeny Tag Holidays was stamped onto the Teeny Tags Layering Dies.  A small red star was cut out using a die from the Hello Baby Stamp Set and added to the little twine bow on the tag.

My Creative Time: 68th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 2

Hi and welcome to day 2 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 68th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the new More Scallop Stitched Ovals.  Yay, more scallops!! I love that Emma has added all of these new scallop dies to her product line! 

The light yellow mat and pattern paper mat were cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and the More Stitched Rectangular Dies.  The white oval and light yellow scallop were cut out using dies from the new More Scallop Stitched Ovals.  The little ice cream cone and the sentiment are both from the You Make Life Sweet Stamp Set.  The little ice cream drop is from the Showers Of Happiness Stamp Set.  Glossy Accents was added to the little ice cream drop and the eyes of the little face. The sentiment was stamped onto the Vintage Stitched Label and then it was layered with a Sentiment Label.  The card was then embellished with clear sequins.

Hi and welcome to day 1 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 68th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the new Scallop Stitched Circles. I'm so excited that we now have the scallop circles to go along with the scallop squares. 

The pink and pattern paper mats were cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and the More Stitched Rectangular Dies.  The little banner was cut out using a die from the 4x4 Journal Die & More set.  The little buttons and the sentiment are both from the Hello Baby Stamp Set. The little bear is from the Beary Special Thoughts Stamp Set.  The bear was paper pieced and parts of it were colored in with Copic markers. The pink scallop and white circle were both cut out using dies from the new Scallop Stitched Circles. The strip behind the scallop circle was cut out using the Stitched Belly Band Dies. The card was embellished with white ribbon and clear sequins.

My Creative Time: Thoughtful Thursday

Hi, today is Thoughtful Thursday over on the My Creative Time Blog.

The little kitty cat was stamped and cut out with a coordinating die from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Set. The little face was carefully masked so it didn't stamp and then the little cut outs for the whiskers were cut off by hand with scissors.  Then a Peachy kitty face was stamped onto the cat image. Copic markers were used to color in the face and add stripes on the kitty. A white gel pen was used to added accents and color in the end of the tail. The collar was also stamped and cut out from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Set. 

The little flower by the kitty was created by combining the grass from the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set and the little flower from the Way To Go Stamp Set. The flower was colored in with Copic markers and the grass was colored with a distress ink. The circles on the Doily were cut out using the Bunch of Fun Circles and the More Stitched Circle Dies. 

The white label and the scallop label were cut out using dies from the Fun Vertical Greetings Stamp Set. The sentiment was stamped onto the white label from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Set. 

The aqua blue mat and the pattern paper mats were cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies and More Stitched Rectangular Dies. 

The card was finished by adding a few clear sequins and two little hearts that were cut out using another die from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Ser.

My Creative Time: Whatever Wednesday

Hi, today is Whatever Wednesday over on the My Creative Time Blog.  I have a simple graduation treat holder to share that was created using the Stitched Lollipop Holder Die. 

The Stitched Lollipop Holder was cut out in black card stock. The little graduation cap and congrats from the Grad Night Stamp Set, were stamped onto the holder using embossing ink and white embossing powder. The Lollipop Holder was topped with a small Scallop Stitched Rosette.  The center of the Rosette was covered with a circle that was cut out using the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies.  The little worm with her graduation cap was also stamped from the Grad Night Stamp Set.  The hat and the worm's mouth were colored in with Copic markers. The glasses and mouth were topped with Glossy Accents. The cheeks were chalked with chalk ink and accented with a white gel pen. After the worm was all finished it was added to the center of the Rosette. An Original Gourmet lollipop was added to Stitched Lollipop Holder and the holder was tied with some black twine.

My Creative Time: To Die For Tuesday

Hi, today is To Die For Tuesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. The design team is showing how to use Emma's amazing dies in new ways. I used my dies to cut out the center of the Frame Die to create a shadow box look on the front of my card. I love how it turned out!

The pattern paper mat was cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die. The flower was cut out using dies from the Stitched Daisy Die set and the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies. All of the flower pieces were cut out using stiffened felt. The flower center was colored in with a Copic marker. The word "thanks" was cut out using a die from the Thank You & Frame Die Set. 

To create the shadow box window with the Frame Die,  several dies were used to cut out the center of the die cut. 

1. After the Frame is cut out, use the Stitched "Capture" Frame Die to cut out the middle of the frame.  

Partially cut out one side of the middle by only running the die through the cutting machine half way. 

 

Then very carefully, flip the die to the other non-cut side and match it up to the grooves of the cut lines. Then partially cut out the other side. 

2. Use the die from the 4x4 Journal Die & More Die Set to cut out the next area on both sides.

3. Use the smaller of the Treat Label Dies to cut out the bit of curved area at the top of the die cut on both sides. 

Then you will have your cut out Frame. 

Then the Frame was pop dotted all the way around it and added to the card to create the shadow box look.

Today I am showcasing the new set called Sea You Soon. I just love that little turtle with his fishy friends!! So many great sentiments too!!

The new Scallop Stitched Square Dies were used to cut out the white card stock scallop squares and pattern paper rounded square. The Stitched Square Dies were used to cut out the vellum square. The bit of ground was cut out using the More Stitched Edges Dies. The little turtle, fish, coral, and wave lines are all from the new Sea You Soon Stamp Set. The images were colored in with Copic Markers.
