These new halloween characters that Kathy has created are so spooktacular!! I just love them! I just knew that I wanted to work with these cute little ghosts, the mad scientist, and the scary pumpkin from the new August stamp of the month set.

I first started off with a 5x7 card base. For the background paper I used the haunted house from The Paper Loft's Haunted Trick or Treat Set. It helped create the perfect scene for these characters.

I then colored and cut out each little Peachy Keen character and pop dotted them onto the card base.

I then cut out the sentiments using My Creative Time's Stitched Oval Die and adhered it to the ribbon.

I finished by added a couple of buttons to the corner to match the scientist.

My Creative Time: Tag It Tuesday: Sketch Challenge

Hi, today is Tag It Tuesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. For this tag we were to use the following sketch to inspire our tag.

So here is what I've come up!

.

For the base of the tag I used MCT: Tag Dies. I traced the tag die on blue card stock, cut it out, and then added white gel pen stitching.

I thought the MCT: Stitched Fun Ticket Dies would be perfect with this Peachy Keen Stamps Clown. I first colored the clown with Copic markers and chalked his cheeks. Once I got him put together I added the ticket die cut outs. Then I stamped on the sentiment from MCT: Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments Stamp set and added some yellow twine to the ticket.

The fun yellow polka dotted stars come from MCT: 3 Star Stitched dies and You are Fabulous stamp set.

I added ribbon and twine from my stash to the tag and then added a little yellow star to them from MCT: 4x4 Journal Die and More.

I finished this tag by added sequins to the stars and tickets.

A simple and fun birthday tag that will surely put a smile on the birthday recipient!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

My Creative Time: Whatever Wednesday

Hi, today is Whatever Wednesday over at the My Creative Time Blog. We can create whatever we chose to share with all of you!

So here is what I have come up with.

I first created the base of the card using the MCT: Bunch of Fun Circles and Recollection's Craft Card Stock.

I used the largest circle from Bunch of Fun Circles to cut out the puppy print paper and then I cut out a larger red border circle using my Cricut. I added white gel pen stitching to the outside of the red circle.

I cut the dog house and puppy dog out of scraps I had using the MCT: Loyal Friends Stamp Set. I added the cute face to the puppy using Peachy Keen Stamps: Happy-Go-Lucky-Dog Face Assortment. I added the small hearts to the dog and paw print from MCT: 4x4 Journal Die and More.

I stamped on the sentiment from MCT: Live Love Bark onto the smallest MCT: Stitched Round Speech Bubble using Memento Ink. I added it to the card using a Recollections Pop Dot.

The grass underneath the puppy dog comes from MCT: Stitched Grass.

I then finished by added hemp twine to the top and a small little heart from MCT: Stitched Sweethearts and XOXO's Dies.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a wonderful day!! For more amazing design team inspiration please head on over to Miss Emma's Blog!

MCT: Tag It Tuesday

Hi, today is Tag It Tuesday over at My Creative Time. We are to create a tag using the photo below as inspiration.

So here is what I came up with.

For the tag base, I used MCT: Tags and gray card stock. I stamped on the MCT: Stripey Background using white chalk ink. I then traced the tag die on navy blue card stock and fussy cut it.

The lifesaver is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. It doesn't show very well but I distressed the light blue pieces with white ink and added white gel pen dots. I also added hemp twine for the rope.

The glittery starfish comes from MCT: Sit Back and Relax stamp set

I used the stitched round tab from MCT: Stitched Round Tab, Arrow, and Tag set to cover the tag hole. I then added Jute Ribbon and tied hemp twine around it. I then added a small heart from MCT: 4x4 Journal Die and More.

I finished it by adding some white pearled sequins I got at Joann's.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a wonderful day!! For more amazing design team inspiration please head on over to Miss Emma's Blog!

My Creative Time: Try Me Tuesday

Hi, today is Try Me Tuesday over at My Creative Time and today we are trying a box card technique. We had a wonderful video shared with us on how to make one. You can find it here.

So here is what I came up with-

Once I had the base all cut and scored, I stamped on the MCT: Stripey Background onto the navy blue card.

I first used the dies from MCT: Lost At Sea to create the port hole. Then I used a smaller circle from MCT: Bunch of Fun Circles to cut the circle hole into the base. I then filled in the circle with Recollection's brads.

I used MCT: Anchors and Heart for the chain and anchor. I cut a tiny slit in the chain to connect it to the anchor.

The sentiment is from MCT: Hey Sailor and it is stamped on a banner from MCT: Vintage Stitched Label Die.

For the inside of the box card, I used MCT: Make a Splash for the waves.

The little sailboat comes from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. It may be hard to see but for the blue sail, I used the chalk line from MCT: You are Fabulous to match the blue Stripey Background on the front of the card. I then added a heart from MCT: 4x4 Journal Die and More.

I finished the card by adding white gel pen dots to the boat and sequins to the front.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a wonderful day!! For more amazing design team inspiration please head on over to Miss Emma's Blog!

MCT: 33rd Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 33rd Release Blog Hop! If you have made it here from Ruthie's blog then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way please head on over to Emma's Blog for the full hop order.

I get the privilege of creating and sharing a project featuring the "Bee Happy" stamp set for the hop. So here is what I came up with!

I have been on treat project kick a bit. They are fun and Miss Emma's dies make them so easy to create.

So I took the MCT: Lollipop Holder Die and used a little bag of "Bit O' Honey" instead of a lollipop.

I then put the beautiful flower on top from MCT: Stitched Daisy. I inked the edges with Colorbox light blue ink and added clear glitter to the center.

I added two leaves to the daisy from MCT: Stitched Leaves. I inked the edges with green Colorbox ink.

I stamped on the bee trail from MCT: Live, Love, Laugh and Be Happy.

I stamped on the sentiment from the new "Bee Happy" onto the MCT: Stitched Oval Die.

I cut out the bee shadow and then stamped him on also from "Bee Happy" and "Stitched Bees & Bee Hives".  I then colored him in with Copic Markers.

I finished by adding twine around the top of the bag and a little honey comb from the new "Stitched Honey Comb" die.
