My Creative Time: 38th Release: Sneak Peeks Day #1

Hello everyone!! I'm so excited that it's day #1 of My Creative Time's 38th Edition Release!!! This release is off the charts amazing and I love every bit of it!! I know you all are going to love it too!!

Today we are showcasing the new "Stitched Oval Dies"

I absolutely love how you can mix these new oval dies with older MCT products!! When I saw them I immediately thought of creating a frame of the Eiffel tower from MCT: Spring Time in Paris. The gold embossed Eiffel tower looks so gorgeous in the daylight!! This picture doesn't do it justice!

The little holly leaves were created from MCT: Seasonal Greetings Stamp Set. The berries were created from MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies. I think the holly and berries added the perfect little holiday touch to the gold flourishes.

I used MCT: Stitched Rectangles and More to cut the pretty plaid pattern paper and the green accent paper.

I loved creating the Poinsettia out of MCT products!! I always have fun finding new ways to use the dies I already have!! I used one of the leaves from MCT: A Thankful Heart Stamp set to create the petals. I inked the petal edges in Memento: Rhubarb Stalk ink. I then glued two layers of leaves together and added the golden center using MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies. I finished the flower by adding pretty green leaves from MCT: Stitched Leaves.

I finished the card by adding the sentiment also from MCT: Spring Time in Paris onto a banner from MCT: Vintage Stitched Label Dies.

MCT: Tag It Tuesday

Hi, today is Tag It Tuesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. We are creating projects using Miss Emma's amazing tags!! We are also drawing inspiration for our projects based on the picture/color combo found at the end of the post.

So I created this fun little treat using MCT: Teeny Tag Laying Dies.

 .

The cute little turkey svg is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I knew the colors would be perfect for the turkey. I know there wasn't orange in the color combo but the football threads kind of looked orange to me.

I stamped on the adorble little eyes from Peachy Keen Stamps: Chickie Faces. I colored the eyes in with a Copic marker.

The glasses are from MCT: What's Growing On? I had to fold them in the middle a tad bit to get them to fit on the face.

\

I added the grass using MCT: Stitched Grass. A great die that adds so much dimension to any project.

I used the middle banner from MCT: Trio Stitched Banner Dies to stamp on the sentiment from MCT: Teeny Tag Holidays.  I used the same stamp set to stamp on the "For My Turkey" onto the MCT: Teeny Tag Laying Dies.  For the small bannerI just dissected the banner a bit to make it shorter and to fit better onto the turkey.

\

Well that's my project! I love how MCT tags add just to right element to your project!! It sure did for mine!!

My Creative Time: What a Treat Wednesday

Hi, today is What a Treat Wednesday over on the My Creative Time Blog

I decided to create a little treat for my hubby to let him know he still makes my heart skip a beat after all these years!!

I found these super cute little plastic popcorn boxes at the Dollar Tree.

I added the red and white circles from MCT: Bunch of Fun Circles. I used one of my favorite stamp sets, MCT: Family Is Everything, to create the fun splatter background on the white circle.

I used Peachy Keen Stamps: Popcorn People to create the cute little popcorn. They were stamped and colored in with Copic markers.

The larger sparkly hearts are from MCT: Layering Heart Dies. The tiny sparkly hearts are from MCT: Seasonal Greeting Stamp Set.

The tag was cut out using MCT: Stitched Round Tag, Arrow, and Tab die. I traced in on red card stock and cut it out to create a mat for it.

I stamped the sentiment onto the tag using MCT: Alpha Pack Stamp Set.

Well that's my project!

Thank you so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!

Peachy Keen Stamps: Stamp on a Happy Face

Hi Peachy friends!! Today I’m sharing a project I created with some super cute 4" Peachy Keen faces.

We had snow here already and so it inspired me to create these snowman ornaments with my Peachies.

I snagged these Styrofoam ornaments up at Wally World for .48 cents each. I painted them both with two layers of  Snow White Acrylic paint.

I just leave the stamp on the plastic backing so it is easier to maneuver when stamping on a round surface. After you have your image adhered to the Styrofoam make sure it has ample time to dry. If you do not, it will smear all over.

For the snowman ornament on the top left, I stamped and paper pieced the nose and mouth after I colored them in with Copic Markers. I also added white gel pen accents.

I wanted it to look like she was catching snowflakes with her tongue. So on her tongue, I stamped a snowflake from PK-19 What's So Funny using Versmark Ink and Recollection's Snow White Embossing Powder.

For the snowman ornament on the bottom right, I stamped and paper pieced the nose and mouth. I accented the nose with a Copic Marker and a white gel pen.

I inked both of their cheeks with Inkadinakado Chalk ink.

For their adorable little Christmas hats, I found socks for a $1 at the Dollar General Store and glued them onto the Styrofoam ornaments with a Hot Glue Gun. I then cut a small hole for the ribbon to come back through so they could still hang on the tree.

MCT: Scrapping the Little Things

Hi, today is Scrapping the Little Things over on the My Creative Time Blog. We are creating our scrapbook projects based on the following sketch.

So here a little Smash Book page I came up with.

This is my baby girl at the pumpkin patch! I just love her infectious smile!! So I just knew I had to scrap this picture of her. This was the perfect sketch to do so!

I cut her picture out with the smallest rectangle from MCT: Stitched Rectangular Frames and matted it with orange card stock.

For my pumpkin, I used the oval and tree trunk from MCT: Seasonal Greetings Stamp Set. I stamped the ovals with MCT: Build a Scripty background stampI also used the smallest leaf from MCT: Piles of Smiles. I just turned it on its side to give the look of two leaves behind the stem.

The pretty little fall leaves are from MCT: A Thankful Heart Stamp Set.

I stamped the sentiment from MCT: Card Sentiments onto a label from MCT: Vintage Stitched Label Dies.

Well that's my project!
