My Creative Time-Inspiration Wednesday

Hi, today is Inspiration Wednesday over at My Creative Time.

My project was inspired by the following pictures.

My dad sent me these pictures the other day of his beautiful tulips that adorn his front yard. Which made me think of making a tulip card! So the new flower dies worked out perfectly to make my idea come to life.

I cut out my two tulip heads using the MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves. I then added faces from Peachy Keen Stamps: Sweet on You face assortment. I then adhered them onto a cut out I got from SVG Cutting Files: Kawaii Tulips.

I cut out the blue card stock using the MCT: 3x4 Journal Die and then embossed it with the Cuttlebug: D'Vine Swirls folder. I cut out the clouds from MCT: Cartoon Cloud dies and inked them with light blue Color Box Ink. I then created the grass with MCT: Bracket Die and MCT: Stitched Grass.

I created a small banner from MCT: Chocolate Greetings Stamp Set die and stamped on the sentiment from MCT: Fly Away with Me Sentiments Stamp Set.

I finished by adding ribbon and a bow using Celebrate It 360 ribbon. I then added another stitched layering heart and a Recollection's pearl.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a wonderful day!! For more amazing design team inspiration please head on over to Miss Emma's Blog!

My Creative Time 31st Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 31st Release Blog Hop! If you have made it here from the talented Ruthie's blog then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way please head on over to Emma's Blog for the full hop order.

This release is off of the charts amazing!! Emma has done it again! I get the privilege of creating and sharing a project featuring "Main Street". So here is what I came up with!

When I first saw "Mainstreet" I thought of Batman. So I knew I had to create a project using these buildings and the Dark Night.

I stamped and paper pieced four buildings. Then I colored in the windows with a Copic marker. I did the same with the winding road. I used part of one building to create a taller tier for the skyline.

I then cut out the yellow oval using the MCT: Suprise Pop-Out Card Die. I stamped on the sentiments from MCT: Way To Go Stamp Set and MCT: Fly Away With Me Sentiments Stamp Set. I free handed the beam of light and glued it onto the oval to create the look of the batman signal in the sky.

I then cut out two clouds from the MCT: Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies.

Though it is really hard to see, I added some grass at the bottom of the card using MCT: Stitched Grass Die.

To finish I cut out the batman from PRPP: Superheros Trio SVG and added a PKS: In the Garden face.

I cut out the ampersand from And Then Some and the "xoxo" from MCT: Stitched Sweethearts & XOXO dies.

Next, I added some Jutte Ribbon to the top. I then embellished it with a heart from MCT: Stitched Sweethearts and a flower from MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers & leaves.

My Creative Time-Sneak Peeks Day#2

Today, is day 2 of sneak peeks for the the My Creative Time April release.

We are sneaking two fabulous sets today, "Way to Go" and "Main Street".

So here is what I came up with .

I first started out with a 4 3/4 " x 4 3/4" Kraft card stock base. I then added white gel pen accents with a white gelly roll pen.

I cut out a 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" square out of white card stock and adhered it to the base.

I used MCT: 4x4 Journal Die and More set to cut out the 4x4" square out of paper from Studio Calico's Sun Drifter collection. I inked the edges with Color Box light blue ink.

I stamped the road from MCT: Main Street onto white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then cut it out. Next, I took a Copic Marker and colored in the dashes.

I cut out the pieces of the bicycle from the new MCT: Way to Go. Once I had the bicycle glued together, I added glossy accents to make it shine like a real bike. I then proceeded to cut out the basket and flowers from MCT: Way to Go as well. I decorated the basket with the pretty ornate stamp from the same set.

The grass comes from MCT: Stitched Grass and the banner from MCT: Stitched Party Dies. I added glossy accents on top of it and then sprinkled clear glitter on it.

The sentiment also comes from the Way to GO set and it was stamped on a die cut from MCT: Stitched Vintage Label Dies.

I finished the card up with adding ribbon from American Crafts.

***Sneak Peek giveaway!***

My Creative Time-Whatever Wednesday

Good morning! Today is Whatever Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog.

I created a cute little tag to decorate a Easter treat tube using Emma's amazing products. I just love how you can mix and match them to come up with a wonderful project!

For the tag, I used MCT: Just Tag Stamp and Die set. I cut the back layer out of Kraft paper and the front layer out of blue cardstock. I then embossed the front tag layer with the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls folder.

The little bunny rabbit is a cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables and his face is from Peachy Keen Stamps: Here Kitty Kitty and Cute and Cuddly. I colored his eyes, nose, and mouth with Copic Markers.

I then cut out three little eggs from MCT: Hello Chickie Stamp Set and glued them to the front of the rabbit.

I cut out a strip of grass from MCT: Stitched Grass and stamped on the sentiment from MCT: Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments.

I tied the tag onto the treat tube and then added a bow using the American Crafts gingham ribbon. I found these cute little carrot treat tubes at our local PX. I'm sure you can find them others places as well.

To finish, I added a small heart from MCT: Stitched Sweethearts and XOXO dies.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!! Please head on over to the My Creative Time Blog to see all the rest of the design teams amazing creations!!

When I saw these stamps I automatically thought of a 50's diner! The checkerboard background is amazing!! It really helped make the burger stand come to life on the card.

All of the wall decor' are from the new April Stamp of the Month kit as well as the faces.

The cute little cup comes from The 50's.

The girl and burger stand were cut files from SVG Cutting Files.

My Creative Time: Thrifty Thursday with a Sketch

Hi, today is Thrifty Thursday over at the My Creative Time blog. We have a fun sketch that we got to work with for today.

So here is what I came up with based on the sketch.

The little duckling comes from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I replaced the cut file flower with the MCT: Stitched Daisy die. I added glossy accents to the center and covered it with clear glitter.

For the accent piece, I first cut out the MCT: Stitched Curly Die and cut it in half. The little yellow circles were cut out using the MCT: Geotag die. I then added the glossy accents and glitter to them as well.

Next, I added the ribbon from Celebrate It 360.

To finish the card, I cut out a banner from MCT: Just Live Simply Stamp Set and then stamped on a sentiment from MCT: Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments.

Well that is my card!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!! Please head on over to the My Creative Time Blog to see all the rest of the design teams amazing creations!!
