PKS and MKC Co-Hop Day 2

Welcome to the Miss Kate Cuttables
and
Holiday Co-Hop!

We have had a week filled with wonderful Holiday projects created by the talented and amazing designers from both teams! Today is our last day of sharing how well Peachy Keen Stamps go with cutting files from Miss Kate Cuttables!!

Today I have a fun little card to share inspired by one of the songs from Disney's "Frozen". When I saw the MKC: Build a Snowman-Girl,automatically thought of that song! So I just knew I had to create a project combing both of them.

The little girl's face was stamped using PKS: The Moodies Face Assortment. This is one of my favorite face assortments in the whole wide world!! They have the cutest faces for your cutting files!!

For the snowman face, I used PKS: Winter Wonderland Face Assortment. They are currently on sale just one more day as a November special. This is a wonderful assortment since there are great faces for snowmen, penguins, and gingerbread people. His little buttons were stamped on using PKSC-23 November 2013.

I chalked both of their cheeks, added white gel accents, and colored their eyes/mouths with Copic markers.

I printed the sentiment out onto white card stock and cut it out with a stitched speech bubble from My Creative Time.

For my card base, I used My Creative Time: Stitched Rectangular Dies.

For the snow hills I used Lawn Fawn: Hill Side Borders.

The snowflakes are also from My Creative Time.

The sequins are from my stash and the twine is from American Crafts.

Happy Thanksgiving!! PKS and MKC Co-Hop

Welcome to the Miss Kate Cuttables
and
Holiday Co-Hop!

We have a week filled with wonderful
Holiday projects created by the talented and amazing designers from both teams!

First I would like to say Happy Thanksgiving!! In honor of today, I have created a cute Thanksgiving wreath!!

I found the wreath in the clearance section of Target and knew I needed to up cycle it with some die cuts and cute Peachy faces! Miss Kate's Cuttables had just the right ones I was looking for!! There are so many wonderful cutting files to choose from!! Plus, I love that my Peachy Keen Stamps match perfectly with them!!

I cut out the MKC: Thanksgiving Title out of scraps I had and added the super cute PKS: 3/4" Piles of Smiles face to the pumpkin. I chalked his cheeks and added white gel pen accents to him as well as the title.

I cut out the MKC: Thanksgiving Boy/Girl and stamped on their faces using PKS: Christmas in July Face Assortment. These fabulous faces are a November special and on sale till November 30th. I colored her eyes in with Copic markers. I chalked their cheeks and added white gel pen accents to each one. I added faces to the little gourd and pumpkin they are holding using PKS: Sweet and Silly Face Assortment.

I cut the MKC: Turkey in a Pumpkin and added a face from PKS: Variety Face Assortment. They are also a November special! The eagle face was perfect to create a turkey face! I colored the eyes and beak in with Copic markers. I chalked the turkey's cheeks and added white gel pen accents. I also inked the edges of the feather in various color coordinating Memento inks.

I added the sentiment from PKSC-10 October 2012 to a banner die cut from My Creative Time.

The Peachy Keen Stamps prize for one lucky blog hopper is a
$25.00 Gift Certificate for each day of comments and then at the end of our event,

Here's what I created for our hop today using these adorable new stamps.

I found this cute little svg over at Little Scraps of Heaven and just new it would be a perfect fit for the new faces. I mean how cute is a bear with a penguin hat anyways and then with Kathy's amazing faces it became even cuter!!

I cut the bear out of Recollection's white card stock and inked the edges with Memento's Summer Sky ink. I used the new Happy Snow Couples 1 1/8" assortment for the bear's face. I just masked the carrot nose and mouth. For his hat, I used the new Happy Penguin Couples assortment. Both sets are so darn adorable!! Love them!!! I colored their eyes in with Copic markers and chalked their cheeks.

I added the fun sentiment from the new Holiday Stamp set onto a stitched oval die from My Creative Time. Their are so many wonderful sentiments that go perfectly with these amazing new stamps.

The card base is a svg from Pretty Papers, Pretty Ribbons.

The twine is from American Crafts.

The snowflake is from My Creative Time.

All papers used were from my scrap bin.

Day 2 of PKS: November Sneak Peeks

If you are looking for the My Creative Time: Sneak Peek Day #4  please click here.

Hi, Peachy Friends!! It's day 2 of sneak peeks for the fabulous new November Peachy Keen Stamps Release!! Weren't those sneaks yesterday just adorable? Well get ready for some more cuteness overload in today's sneaks.

When I first saw this sentiment I just knew I had to create a snow day scene!

These are the cutest penguins ever!! I colored them with Copic markers and then cut them out. It doesn't show real well but I added Stickles to their hats to give them a bit of sparkle. I also added white gel pen accents and chalked their cheeks.

The adorable little trees are part of a new faceless stamp set so you can leave them as they are or add a cutie patootie PKS face to them. I colored the edges of the trees, the trunks, and the stars with Copic markers. I then added some Stickles to the stars.

To create the snowy hills I used Lawn Fawn's Hillside Borders die. I then inked the edges with Memento's Summer Sky Blue.

The little sled was cut from the Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge. I cut the bottom out of shiny silver foil paper and the top out of wood grain paper. I was so glad to finally use one of my cartridges for once. I must say they have been laying dormant. Always nice to have them to fall back on for a certain image.

I added the sentiment to a stitched square cut out from MCT: Stitched Goodies die. I inked the edges with Summer Sky as well.

I embellished the top of the card with American Craft's Twine, My Creative Time: Snowflake, and a sequin.

MCT: Sneak Peek Day #4

Hello everyone!! Today is the final day of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time's 38th Edition Release!!! Today we are showcasing the new "Hello You ". This is going to be a fabulous freebie stamp for the first 150 shoppers!! What great gift!!

What a beautiful stamp set this is!! I love it!! So glad Emma created it!!

I stamped the plant and flowers using Versamark ink and then added Recollection's Gold embossing powder on top. Love how it turned out!! It really pops right off the card!

I cut the fall colored pattern paper with MCT: Stitched Rectangular Frame dies.

I used the new MCT: Stitched Oval dies to create the frame around the flowers.

I didn't have any glitter paper on hand so I just made some. I wanted my sentiment and the butterfly to match the "Hello You" stamp. So I stamped my Versamark ink pad on some white card stock, added the embossing powder, and then heated it with my heat gun. Once I had my glitter paper created,  I cut out the little butterfly from MCT: Pretty Butterflies and the "grateful" from MCT: A Thankful Heart Stamp set.

I added a strip of Vellum to the card as well as the "grateful" die cut. I finished the card by added the "for you' sentiment also from the MCT: A Thankful Heart Stamp set.

Peachy Keen Stamps: November '14 Release

If you are looking for the My Creative Time: Sneak Peek Day #3 please click here.

Howdy, Peachy Friends!! It's day 1 of sneak peeks for the fabulous new November Peachy Keen Stamps Release!! You are going to fall in love with what Kathy has created. They are so ADORABLE!!!

How cute are these little cowboy snow people? I think they are some of my favorite PKS snow people ever!!

I paper pieced their hats and colored the rest of them in with Copic makers.

The cow print is a fabulous new background stamp being released!!

I cut all the pattern paper and red card stock out using My Creative Time: Stitched Rectangular dies and more.

The cute little holly was also colored in with Copic markers.

I added the sentiment from the same snow people set to a banner from My Creative Time: Stitched Vintage Label Die.

Mosey on down here for my second sneak peek.

I love this little snowman!! He is so cute!! I colored him in with Copic markers and chalked his cheeks. I also added white gel pen accents.

I cut the pattern papers using My Creative Time: Stitched Rectangular dies and more. The pretty red paper is one of two beautiful new Paisley background stamps being released. They go perfectly with all theses cute new PKS buckaroos!

I used a hillside die from Lawn Fawn to create the two toned background.

The sentiments that come with him make me giggle!! Just because they remind me of my boys when they are playing. I added it to a banner from My Creative Time: Stitched Vintage Label Die.

I finished by adding two stars cut from My Creative Time: 3 Star Stitched dies. Love how the burlap one looks on there. Plus, I wanted to add a yellow one to match him.

I finished by adding a bit of twine rope to the star.

Prizes: Prizes: Prizes!

MCT: Sneak Peeks Day #3

Hello everyone!! Today is day 3 of the My Creative Time's 38th Edition Release!!! Today we are showcasing the new "Snow Buddies & Winter Snowman Dies". You are going to fall in love with these adorable snowmen!! I love them to pieces!!!

I'm so excited that Emma came out with the dies for these little snow cuties!! I've been hoping for them since she released MCT: You're So Cool Stamp Set. For my snowmen, I mixed the dies with the stamps. It made creating them so easy!! I colored in their cute little noses and stick arms with Copic markers.

I really like that they fit perfectly onto the MCT: Stitched Lollipop Holder Die

I created the snow bank by cutting down another lollipop die cut with MCT: Large Cloud Bubble. Then I added the sentiment from the new Snow Buddies stamp set. I thought this sentiment went great with the little lollipop treat!

I added the scallop from MCT: Scallop and Stitched Circle Die and some cute snowflakes from MCT: Winter Flake dies.

Today we are showcasing the new "Stitched Window & Accessories, Window Sentiments, and Flowers sets"

I'm so excited for these new dies!! They add such an amazing element to any project!! Plus, they are so versatile!! I could think of many ways to use this cute little window!!

When I look at this card I start to get the tune in my head of "how much is that doggy in the window". Sorry if it is now stuck in yours too! Hee Hee!

When I saw this new window die I thought of a puppy patiently looking out the window for someone to come back. I know my dog does this a lot as well as my kitty too! Which became the inspiration for my card! Hopefully one day Emma will make a cute kitty cat!

My Creative Time: 38th Release: Sneak Peeks Day #1

Hello everyone!! I'm so excited that it's day #1 of My Creative Time's 38th Edition Release!!! This release is off the charts amazing and I love every bit of it!! I know you all are going to love it too!!

Today we are showcasing the new "Stitched Oval Dies"

I absolutely love how you can mix these new oval dies with older MCT products!! When I saw them I immediately thought of creating a frame of the Eiffel tower from MCT: Spring Time in Paris. The gold embossed Eiffel tower looks so gorgeous in the daylight!! This picture doesn't do it justice!

The little holly leaves were created from MCT: Seasonal Greetings Stamp Set. The berries were created from MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies. I think the holly and berries added the perfect little holiday touch to the gold flourishes.

I used MCT: Stitched Rectangles and More to cut the pretty plaid pattern paper and the green accent paper.

I loved creating the Poinsettia out of MCT products!! I always have fun finding new ways to use the dies I already have!! I used one of the leaves from MCT: A Thankful Heart Stamp set to create the petals. I inked the petal edges in Memento: Rhubarb Stalk ink. I then glued two layers of leaves together and added the golden center using MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies. I finished the flower by adding pretty green leaves from MCT: Stitched Leaves.

I finished the card by adding the sentiment also from MCT: Spring Time in Paris onto a banner from MCT: Vintage Stitched Label Dies.
