Peachy Keen Stamps: Face Day!

If you are looking for My Creative Time: Try Me Tuesday, please click here.

Hi Peachy friends!! Today I’m sharing a project with some super cute Peachy Keen faces.

I made this fabulous little birthday kitty box for my mom’s birthday with a svg from SVG Cutting Files.

For the kitty's face, I used PK-111 Here Kitty Kitty 1 1/8" stamp set. I used a Horizon Green Copic marker to color in the eyes. For the mouth, I used Lite Pink and Peach Copic markers. I added Inkadinkado chalk ink to his face as well as white gel pen accents. I finished his look by adding a sequin to his birthday hat.

For the adorable balloon trio, I used PKSC-33 September 2014. Their faces are from PK-1430 Variety Faces 1 1/8".  I also used chalk ink on their faces and added white gel pen accents. I tied each one of the balloons to the kitty's tail using American Crafts twine.

For the polka dotted present, I used Veramark Ink, Recollection's Snow embossing powder, and PK-1395 Circus Polka Dots Size A2. The bow on the present was stamped and paper pieced using PKSC-13 January 2013.

The "Happy Birthday" sentiment also from PKSC-33 September 2014 was stamped on a cute little tag from My Creative Time's Teeny Tag Greetings and Dies.

I filled the box with pink Decorative Shred and Hersey's Kisses.

Well that's my project!! I had so much fun creating this birthday box with my Peachy Keen Stamps! I can't wait for for my mom to get this for her birthday!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Happy stamping!

-Emily-

P.S. We still have a great Peachy Keen Stamps challenge going on that we would love for you to join in on the fun!! You can find it here.

My Creative Time: Try Me Tuesday

Today is Try Me Tuesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. We are trying a technique where we create our own stencils with MCT dies.

So here is what I came up with.

To create my stencil: I used MCT: Stitched Rectangles and More to cut out a small rectangle in heavy white card stock. I then cut out three leaves from MCT: A Thankful Heart Stamp set in the rectangle. I then layered my stencil on another white card stock rectangle and taped it to my cutting mat. Now it was ready to ink.

For my leaves: I used a sponge to color them with Potter's Clay, Dandelion, Tango, and Rhubarb Stalk Memento inks. Then I stamped on the leaves with MCT: Build a Script  in Memento Rich Cocoa ink. I didn't ink the whole stamp up so that way each leaf would look unique to the others.

I stamped the sentiment from MCT: Something to Be Thankful For stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I love this sentiment to the moon and back! It is oh so true! I colored the little heart in with a Dark Red Copic marker.

I matted it with green Recollection's card stock and adhered it to my card base.

I finished it by adding gold sequins.

Well that's my card! I hope I have inspired you to create your own stencils with My Creative Time dies. I had so much fun trying this technique out! I hope you will too!

Please head on over to the My Creative Time Blog to see the rest of the design team's amazing creations!!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy creating!

Today, I am showcasing the new "Wicked Fun Dies" and "Trick or Treat" stamp set.

Here is what I've created!

I cut the base of my card out using MCT: Bunch of Fun Circle Dies.

On my card base, I layered a purple doily from MCT: Stitched Doily and a yellow circle also cut from MCT: Bunch of Fun Circle Dies . I inked the edges of the yellow circle with Memento ink to create the moon look.

The little witch is a cut file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. For her little broom stick and hat I used the wickedly fabulous new MCT: Wicked Fun Dies. Her cute little face is from Peachy Keen Stamps. I inked her cheeks, colored her eye in with a Copic marker, and added white gel pen accents. I also used glossy accents on her shoes and dress. Then I sprinkled clear glitter on the dress. For her hat embellishment, I used MCT: I'm a Lucky Girl.

I stamped on the sentiment from the new MCT: "Trick or Treat" stamp set on to a banner from MCT: Trio Stitched Banner Dies. I embellished it with some black jewels.

I finished the card by adding three litlle bats also from the Wicked Fun dies.

This is the perfect little die and stamp set for all you coffee lovers out there.

So here is what I came up with.

I first cut two layers of the 3x3 card using MCT: Card Sentiment Stamp Set w/ 3x3 Trifold Card Die. I inked the pattern paper with Memento: Angel Pink.

Once I had my card assembled, I cut out the label from the new MCT: Stitched Rectangles and More set and inked the edges. Then I added the super cute heart steam impression to it. You have to love that!! I know I do!!

Next, I cut out three layers of the adorable little coffee cup from the new MCT: All You Need Is Coffee set!! I then added a cute little Peachy Keen Stamps face to it. I chalked the cheeks and added white gel pen accents.

I then stamped on the "Just for You" sentiment also from MCT: Card Sentiment Stamp Set w/ 3x3 Trifold Card Die. I cut out the word "coffee" from MCT: All You Need Is Coffee set as well and adhered above the sentiment so it was a little bit of a surprised when you opened it.

For the inside, I will place a packet of coffee for the recipient.

I then tied it up with twine and added a little blingy jewel to the bow.

MCT: 36th Release: Sneak Peeks Day #2

Today, is day #2 of Sneak Peeks for the My Creative Time's 36th Release! Today we are sneaking the wickedly spooktacular "Wicked Fun Dies" and "Trick or Treat". These are perfect for your Halloween projects!! Endless possibilities!!

Here are my projects.

For my first project, I found these cute little jars at Target in the dollar section. I thought they work great with Emma's new Halloween dies.

I first cut a orange circle with my Cricut to cover the top of the lid. I used orange ink to go over the edges of the circle. I then cut out two spider webs from the "Wicked Fun Dies" and glued them together. I added it onto the orange circle and cut off any spider web edges that were larger than the circle. Then I adhered it to the lid. I also added a cut little spider to the web and sparkled him up with Stickles.

For the tag, I used MCT: Scallop and Stitched Circle dies for the larger black circle and then MCT: Bunch of Fun Circles for the orange smaller circle. Then I just used a paper hole punch that I've had since college to create a hole for the twine to be tied.

I added the cute little "Happy Halloween" sentiment from this new set. I finished the tag by adding the trio of bats also from this set.

I was lucky that there was already twine on the jar, so I just untied it and removed the tag that was on it. Then retied my new little tag onto the twine, added it to the jar, and filled the jar with candy corn, Whala the project is finished.

Products used:
MCT: Wicked Fun Dies
MCT: Scallop and Stitched Circle dies
MCT: Bunch of Fun Circles
$1 Jars from Target
Recollection's Orange and Black Card Stock
Stickles
Hole Punch
Cricut/George Basic Shapes Cartridge
Memento Tuxedo Black and Tangelo
Candy Corn

For my second project, I used the "Wicked Fun Dies" along with the "Trick or Treat" stamp set. These two sets go along perfectly with each other!

For the corners, I cut out four spiders webs to layer two on each side. I cut them down to fit the corners.

I then cut out the broom, hat, bat, shoes, and spider all from the new "Wicked Fun Dies".

On the witch hat, I used MCT: I'm a Lucky Girl to add a bit of embellishment to it. I then added glossy accents to the buckle.

For the bat, I added yellow beady eyes that were the little dots from MCT: Stitched Doily.

On the shoes, I added glossy accents.

I added each one to the card. I was trying to make it look like they were hung on the wall after a long day of flying and casting spells.

I then used the layered label from the new MCT: Stitched Rectangles and More dies. I stamped on the sentiment from the new "Trick or Treat". Then I embellished it with Recollection's jewels.

I added the ribbon and twine to the base of the card and then adhered my pop dotted label to it.

Today we are sneaking the new "Rectangular Stitched Frames & More".

Here is what I've created with these wonderful new dies!

I just love how these new rectangles make creating a card a cinch!! Though they could be used in a million other ways as well!

I first cut out the large hot pink rectangle and matted it with black card stock. Then I cut out a white rectangle and used MCT: Family is Everything Stamp Set to create the awesome neon paint splatter background. I am over the moon with these paint splatter stamps!! You can create a colorful background in no time. I then matted the white card stock with the black card stock and adhered it to my card.

I used the "hi" from the new "Rectangles Stitched Frames and More" set and cut it out 9 times in black card stock. I then layered the "hi" three times on each to pop it up a bit off the card.

I did the same thing with the little pink hearts from MCT: Picture Perfect Stamp Set. Then I added Stickles to them to add a little sparkle to the card.

My Creative Time: Inspiration Wednesday

Hello, today is Inspiration Wednesday over at the My Creative Time Blog. My mom is the inspiration for my card. Last month, my stepfather succumbed to his cancer. It is never easy to lose a loved one. So I wanted to send her a card to let her know we are always thinking of her and with time, things will get better! Plus, I hope it might bring a smile to her face!

The cut file I used for this card came from My Scrap Chick. I first started by cutting out the tree with brown card stock and then using Memento: Rich Cocoa ink to stamp on MCT's: Grainy Wood Background. I love how real it makes the tree look!!! I then used MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves for all the leaves on the the tree. I inked each one with Memento: Bamboo Leaves ink. I also added two little hearts from MCT: Stitched Sweethearts and MCT: Picture Perfect Stamp Set. I love how these two little hearts layered so well!!

Next, I cut out the cute little bear. I inked the edges with Memento: Blue Sky ink. I added a peachy face from PK-493 Everyday Character Face Parts and More. I also chalked the cheeks, colored the eyes with a Copic marker, and added white gel pen accents. I finished the little bear by adding a little pink twine bow to her hair.

Next, I added the flowers to the grass cuts also from MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves. I inked the edges of the the blue green flowers with the Sky Blue ink as well. I added Stickles to the centers to give them a bit of bling!

To decorate the bottom of the card, I cut out a square block of the pretty flower paper using MCT: 4x4 Journal Die and More. I then created another larger flower by combining two flowers from the MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves. I created my own sentiment by using the MCT: Alpha Pack Stamp Set on a cut banner from MCT: Vintage Stitched Label Die.

Well that's my project!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Please head on over to the My Creative Time Blog to see the rest of the design team's amazing creations!!

Peachy Keen Stamps: 14-13 Sketch and Color Challenge

Hello, today we have a brand new Peachy Keen Stamps challenge! It's so spooktacular!! We hope you come join in on the fun!!
Here’s how the challenge works. We’ve taken two of our most popular challenges, the sketch challenge and photo inspiration challenge and combined them. (PLEASE NOTE that just for fun, in future challenges we may change this up.) We’ll give you the choice to follow the sketch provided, you can use the photo, color palette, or any combination for endless opportunities in your creative process. Just decide what part of the challenge inspires you and create whatever you’d like. Card, home decor, scrapbook layout, WHATEVER. It’s totally up to you. Please remember that you DON’T HAVE to use Peachy Keen Stamps to play along with our challenge, but we love it when you do!
Here are the challenge photos for you to draw inspiration from, with challenge details to follow.
First up is the sketch. Feel free to rotate it, flip it, or change it up however you’d like just as long s the basic elements of the sketch are still part of your creation.

Now here is the photo/colors to inspire your spooky creations for the upcoming holiday!

For my creations, I was inspired by the "Boo" letters, polka dots, and the colors. So here is what I have created!

I first purchased the wooden letters from the craft store! Thank goodness for coupons!! They can be expensive depending on what size you want. I also purchased some black raffia to use on it as well.

I first traced each letter onto paper from the Recollection's Witches Dust paper pad. Then I cut each one out by hand with my trusty paper piecing scissors.

I then used Modge Podge to adhere the paper onto each letter. I also added some ontop of the paper to make sure it sealed well.

After the letters were all dried and finished, I tied them together with black raffia. It works so well and is quite sturdy! I also made a bow out of it and then hot glued it to the loop at the top.

For the "B", I used PKS-1420 Trio of Girl Ghosts. I stamped and colored each one in with Copic markers. They are the cutest little ghosts! I also created a 1.25" by 12" rosette out of spider web paper and then adhered the circle with the "Happy Halloween" sentiment from PKSC-09 September 2012.

For this "O", I used the adorable little witch also from PKSC-09 September 2012. I colored her with Copic markers and chalk her cheeks with Indadinkadoo chalk. The cool spider web and spider are from PKSC-32 August 2014. For this rosette, I used the chevron paper and I combined a bat from PKSC-32 August 2014 and "EEK" from PKSC-09 September 2012.

For the last "O", I used the wickedly amazing mad scientist and adorable mini ghosts from PKSC-32 August 2014. It took a bit of paper piecing magic but I exchanged the potion for a cute little pumpkin also from PKSC-09 September 2012. The cute pumpkin next to him is also from this set.I colored them all with Copic markers. For this rosette, I used the polka dotted paper and the "trick or treat" sentiment from the same September 2012 stamp of the month set. I colored it in with Copics as well but it doesn't show too well in the photo.

Well that's my project!! I can't wait to hang this up on my front door for Halloween!!

My Creative Time: Designer's Challenge

Hi, today we have a Designer's Challenge over on the My Creative Time blogYou can create a project using inspiration from the photo, the colors, or both!

So here is what I created by using inspiration from the colors and the photo.

When I saw the photo I just knew I had to create a hot cocoa treat mug. I also knew I could decorate it in style with Emma's amazing products!!

I had a file I purchased last year from Treasure Box Designs called Cocoa pals. I used the sweet little bear from the set as well. I added a Peachy Keen Stamps: Teddy Bear Face. I inked and chalked the edges of the bear. I adorned her ear with a cute little snow flake from MCT: Winter Flake Dies. I added a small silver sequin to the center. The little marshmallows she is holding are Peachy Keen Stamps from their Scent with Love set.

Once I had the mug glued together, I added white gel pen accents to the edges.

For the mug accents, I used MCT: Bunch of Fun Circles along with MCT: Stitched Doily. They fit perfectly together!!! Going to have to used them layered more often!

I then embellished the doily with the two larger snow flakes from the MCT: Winter Flake Die set. It doesn't show too well in the photo but the snow flakes were cut using sparkly silver paper. I also added a small sequin to it as well.

I added the sentiment from MCT: You're So Cool Stamp Set to a cut out from MCT: Vintage Stitched Label Die.

I finished the project by adding a sparkly white ribbon to the mug handle and then added a small snow flake to the center. Then I added the little bag of hot cocoa mix to it.

A fun and easy project to cheer up someone's day!

My Creative Time: Made In Minutes

Hi, it's Made in Minutes over on the My Creative Time blog.
So for today, I have revamped a little notebook.

I got this little memo book from Wal-mart for .27 cents in the school supplies area. I thought it would make a great project for made in minutes that could be easily recreated. Plus, who doesn't like a project that is cheap and uses those scraps that just lay around the scrap room?

So I first want to show you in pictures what I did.

I first started out by cutting the red rectangle from MCT: Love To Learn Dies + Stamps Set. I then matted it with black card stock.

Next, I cut out the "you" and "are" from MCT:  Speech Bubble Sentiments Stamp Set. Then below it I stamp on the sentiment "Write On!" from MCT: Write On Stamp Set.

I then added a MCT: Stitched Tab to the top that I shortened up a bit to make it fit better.

I also used the MCT: Love to Learn Dies + Stamps to create the pencil. I added the cute Peachy Keen Bombshell Face, chalked the cheeks, and added white gel pen accents. I used MCT: You are Fabulous Stamp set for the pencil line.

To finish the project, I added a small little star from MCT: 3 Star Stitched Dies.

Well that's my project!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Please head on over to the My Creative Time Blog to see the rest of the design team's amazing creations!!

Peachy Keen Stamps: September Release Blog Hop

The excitement has been building for the past two days and now the time has FINALLY arrived!
WELCOME to the September Release and Reveal Blog Hop at Peachy Keen Stamps!
You should have arrived here from Gigi McKellips's blog, if you’re hopping along in the set order, but if you just happened upon this post then you can go back to the beginning at The Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and start from there so you don’t miss any wonderful project.

This All Occasion release brings wonderful images for projects centered around a birthday theme, as well as some great stamps that pair up perfectly with stamps that have been released previously this year. I can see the Birch Background stamp used with our camping themed release, a rustic Christmas project, Halloween, masculine “guy” cards and so, so much more! Smile Eagle goes amazingly well with the Birch Background, too, and can’t us just see that little fella used for some AWESOME patriotic projects? There’s the Haunted A2 Background, which comes just in time to make some quick and easy Halloween projects, OR pair it up with last month’s release or ANY of our Halloween themed stamps for more versatility. The PKSC-33 Stamp of the Month, Ballerina Bear, and the Sentiments for the September 2014 Release are fabulous “go to” sets for any age! And last but certainly not least are the Variety Face Assortments. It wouldn’t be a PKS release without faces, and these are some of the cutest and most versatile yet! Turn a simple project into something SUPER SPECTACULAR just by adding an adorable Peachy Keen Face! These are must haves, for sure!!

I created a layout using the new heart balloons from PKS-33 September SOTM Kit and PK-1426 Ballet Bear.

How adorable are these cute little ballerina bears?!! I thought they would go perfectly with this layout of my daughter on the day she was born! She had danced her way into our hearts the moment we found out we were expecting her!

I paper pieced each one using two shades of pink, one cream, and one white card stock. I added Stickles to their tutus and their hats. I colored their eyes in with Copic markers and chalked their cheeks.

I stamped and paper pieced the balloons as well. I added sewing string to the balloons and tied them to each bear.

I used My Creative Time's Trio Stitched Banner Dies to added the fun sentiment from the Ballet Bear set to each picture. I used a die from Jaded Blossom to add the sentiment to her birth info. I just covered up the info for the picture so it wasn't shared for the whole world to see.

For the title I used My Creative Time's Uppercase and Lowercase Fun Dies. I dotted the "I" with the little star from the wand.

I embellished the layout with My Creative Time's Stitched Banner dies, Stitched Doily, and the little butterfly. I added Stickles to the butterfly and pearls.

So thankful that Kathy created these bears and sentiments to help me create this layout!

Now to share these amazing new stamps!!!

PKSC-33_LARGE
PK-1426-Ballet-Bear_WEB
Off the charts AMAZING, right? These stamps are NOW available in The Peachy Keen Stamps Shop, and as always, you can pick these new releases up at a discounted price for a limited time!
Now it’s time to do a little hopping to celebrate AND give you a chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate from Peachy Keen Stamps!!  The WINNER from the Blog Hop as well as the winners from both days of sneak peeks will be announced here on Monday, September 8th.
All you need to do to be eligible for the prize is hop along, and leave comments on our designer’s blogs. That’s it! We’ll select one random winner from ALL the comments to win the $50 prize so they can do a little peachy shopping! Have fun, enjoy the hop, and GOOD LUCK!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and please head on over to Lorie Souther's blog!!
