My Creative Time: Manly Monday

Hello and welcome to another Manly Monday over on the My Creative Time Blog. Today I am sharing a fun sparkler holder that I created using the Treat Envelope Die along with many other great MCT products.

The Treat Envelope Die was used to cut out two of the envelope die cuts. A small slit was cut out of the bottom of one of the envelopes before it was glued together. The two envelopes were glued together leaving a diamond shape opening for the sparklers to fit through.

The same Envelope Die was used to cut out the top tab in black card stock. The other die label from the set was cut out in white card stock. The sentiment stamped onto the label was made combining stamps from the Happy Everything Stamp Set and the Encouraging New Year Stamp Set.  The little stars were cut out using a die from the Christmas Greetings Kit. Unfortunately, the Christmas Greetings Kit is no longer available.

The "2019" numbers were cut out using the Number Fun Dies + Add Ons.  The sparklers were placed through the diamond opening with the bottom parts sticking out the of the envelope. A black twine was tied around the sparklers to help hold them in place.

My Creative Time: 3D Wednesday

Hello and welcome to another 3D Wednesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. Today I am sharing a fun treat topper. I discovered the Pretty Treat Topper fits perfectly on top of these $1 mini Ghirardelli Candy bags.

The adorable Santa was stamped and cut out from the Santa Stamps set. He was colored in with Copic markers. His nose, mouth, and eyes were topped with Glossy Accents. His hat was paper pieced from red glitter paper and white card stock. The holly was stamped and cut out from the A Sloth Holiday set. It was colored in with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen. The little berries were cut out using dies form the Holidays Tags Stamp & Die Set. The berries were accented with a black ink pen and topped with Glossy Accents. The treat topper was cut out using the Pretty Treat Topper dies. The sentiment is also from the Holidays Tags Stamp & Die Set  and was stamped onto the white topper label. The red part of the topper was stapled onto the little goody bag. I would recommend possibly gluing the topper on instead, since the staple smashes the bag a bit. The white label and the Santa were then added to the topper. The finishing touch was a couple of gold sequins.
