My Creative Time: Favorite Stamp of the Month

Hi, today we are featuring "My Favorite Stamp" over on the My Creative Time blog. This month we are showcasing the "Bracket Sentiments Stamp Set". If this set of dies have been on your wish list, you can pick this set up HERE at a discount price. This set will be on sale the entire month of July! This special will end on July 31st, 2015 at 12:OO A.M. PST!

For the base of my card, I used Stitched Rectangular Frame dies. I then stamped the You Had Me At Meow: fishbone stamp all over the aqua rectangular frame paper die cut using Versamark ink along with Recollection's Snow Embossing powder. It is so nice when you are not around all your supplies to be able to create your own pattern paper for a project.

I stamped and paper pieced the adorable little kitty cat also from the You Had Me At Meow stamp set. I then colored him with Crayola markers. I wasn't for sure how it would turn out with using these markers. Though I think he turned out really cute!! I masked the eyes of the stamp and then stamped the eyes from the Peachy Keen Stamps: Black Eyed Critters face stamps. I added white gel pen accents to the eyes as well. I then stamped the super adorable nerdy glasses. I stamped and paper pieced the little bow tie to complete the adorable nerdy kitty look.

I stamped and colored the little fish from this month's release freebie Find the Joy in the Little Things stamp set. If you missed out on the freebie it is now available for purchase in the MCT store. I then glued them onto the thought cloud from the Loyal Friends stamp set. The thought bubbles went perfect with the sentiment.

I stamped on the sentiment from the Bracket Sentiments Stamp Set onto a Vintage Stitched Label die. The sentiment was what helped make me come of up with the concept of the kitty cat thinking about fish.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful day!!

My Creative Time: Do Over Thursday

Hi, today is "Do Over Thursday" over on the My Creative Time blog. I'm redoing a sympathy card I created a couple of years ago.

For the base of my card, I used the Scallop Stitched Oval dies. I love the scallop oval!! I hope one day Emma with come out with more sizes of them. I then cut out a smaller oval in pink and overlaid a vellum oval on top of the pink one. Just to soften the look of the pink. I stamped on the flower bouquet image from the My Thoughts Are With You stamp set onto a smaller white card stock oval. I colored the image in with good ole Crayola markers and added white gel pen accents. I stamped a separate image and cut out a few of the flowers to pop dot up for dimension. I stamped the sentiment onto a Fun Stitched Tag and glued it onto a larger tag. I added white ribbon to the larger scallop before I glued the whole card together. I finished by adding sequins from my stash to the scallop oval as well as the stamped image.

Here is the my original card.

Hi! Welcome to the fourth and final day of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 45th Edition Release. Today we are showcasing the ever so sweet Hello There Little Lady stamp set.

For my card base I used the fabulous Scallop Stitched Oval dies. I need to use this set more often. I love the scallop oval! I used three other ovals to cut the pattern paper, vellum, and card stock. I stamped and colored the pretty flowers with Crayola markers once again. I added white gel pen accents as well. I stamped, colored, and cut out the cute little lady bugs with the coordinating dies.

I adhered my polka dotted pattern paper oval with the red ribbon, from my stash, to my card base. I then layered on the other ovals as well. I then added the cute little lady bugs onto the flowers and leaves. I stamped on the sentiment from the new set onto a Fun Stitched Tag label die. I finished the card by adding a little bow to my ribbon I had added before.

MCT: 45th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 3

Hi and welcome back to day 3 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 45th Edition Release. Today we are showcasing the new You’re a Great Catch & Find Joy In The Little Things (Freebie).  I have a simple card to share using the You’re a Great Catch.

When I saw this set I just knew I wanted to create a fish bowl with all of my MCT goodies. For the base of my card, I used Bunch of Fun Circle dies. I used the Stitched Oval die to create the top of the fish bowl. I then stamped the sentiment onto the oval. I used a smaller circle to create the water of the fish bowl. I used a fun new water ripple die from the new You're A Great Catch on the top. I used another water ripple die to create the sand look in the bottom of the bowl.

I stamped and colored the goldfish with plain old Crayola markers. I used them for yesterday's flowery card as well. When you don't have your Copics with you, you got to do what you got to do! Hee Hee! I stamped the plant and cut it out with the coordinating die. I added glossy accents to both of them.

I then added a few blue sequins to simulate bubbles in a tank. There are bubble stamps in the new set but I decided to used sequins to jazz the card up a bit.

MCT: 45th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 2

Hi and welcome back for day 2 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 45th edition release. We are showcasing the new My Thoughts Are With You stamp set. This is a beautiful set that should be in your MCT collection.

I used the scallop circle from Bunch of Fun Circles for my card base in Recollection's Kraft card stock. I then layered the Stitched Doily and Bunch of Stitched Doily onto the card base. Love the combination of these doilies together.

I first stamped on the flower bouquet image from the My Thoughts Are With You stamp set onto white card stock and colored them in. I then cut the image out with another circle from Bunch of Fun Circles die set. I also added some white gel pen accents to the flowers.

I stamped the sentiment onto a label from Fun Stitched Tags.

I finished the card by adding a few sequins from my stash.

MCT: 45th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 1

Hi, and welcome to day one sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 45th Edition Release. Today we are showcasing the fabulous new Stitched Sunburst dies.

I've always wanted to try a sunburst card and these fabulous new dies gave me the perfect excuse to do so.

For the base of my card, I used Stitched Rectangular Frame dies. Then I cut several different pattern papers down into small triangles to put on the card base to create the look of sun rays in the blue sky. All of my pattern papers are from Hobby Lobby.

I then added my unique sun I created with the new Stitched Sunburst dies. I used the donut circle from We're Better Together Stamp set to layer my sun. Then I added the sentiment "Hi" that I cut out using the Upper and Lowercase Fun dies.

I then added three small clouds that I cut out using the Fun Stitched Cloud dies.

I finished the card by adding a few blue sequins from my stash to give it a bit of sparkle.

My Creative Time: Trending Now: Monogram It

Hi, today we are Trending Now over on the My Creative Time blog with monogramming.
I decided to create a simple yet elegant monogram card featuring to letter "K".

For the base of the card, I used Stitched Rectangular Frame dies. They make it a cinch to create a card!

I then added a white ribbon from my stash onto the mats. I layered the Stitched Doily and the new Bunch of Stitched Doily die together.

I then used the Rolled Flowers along with the Jr. Rolled Flowers to create the beautiful flowers!! You can make several in no time with these wonderful flower dies! After I adhered them to the card, I accented them with leaves from the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves dies.

I cut out three "K's" using the Uppercase Fun dies and glued them together. I wanted the letter to have more definition.

I finished by adding a few sequins from my stash.

My Creative Time: What A Treat Wednesday

Hi, today is What A Treat Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog. I have created a couple of cute Treat Slider Boxes that would be great for baby showers using the new Hello Baby stamp set.

I cut out the top of the Treat Slider Boxes in coordinating Recollection's pattern papers for a baby boy and a baby girl. I cut the bottoms of the boxes out of Recollection's white card stock.
I stamped and colored the adorable little elephants from the Hello Baby stamp set with Copic markers. I added the little bows from the You Had Me At Meow stamp set. I adhered the elephants onto a beautiful small doily from the new Bunch of Stitched Doily dies. Then I added a couple of sequins from my stash on either side of the cute little elephants.
I stamped the sentiments for a boy or girl on to a banner label from the Vintage Stitched Label die.
I covered the Hershey's nuggets with the same pattern papers as I used for the boxes by using the scallop strip die from the Treat Slider Box dies. I stamped and colored the little baby bottles also from the Hello Baby stamp set with Copic markers.
Like I said before, they would be so cute as little party favors at a baby shower. I love how adorable they turned out. The new Hello Baby stamps and Treat Slider Box dies go perfectly together!
Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful day!!
