Original Gourmet Lollipop Collaboration

GOOD MORNING & welcome to our collaboration with the FABULOUS “Original Gourmet Lollipop” company! We are ALL super excited to partner up with this company because they truly do have the BEST lollipops around! Many of you are familiar with our famous “Stitched Lollipop Holder Dies” which fit the famous OG lollipops PERFECTLY! Well, we just discovered the “mini” OG lollipops! We LOVED them so much that Emma designed a brand new “Mini Stitched Lollipop Die”. This new die fits the mini OG lollipops to PERFECTION! Join us as we showcase BOTH sizes of these dies so you can see the difference!

I absolutely love Original Gourmet Lollipops and the My Creative Time Stitched Lollipop Holder Die. They coordinate so well together!! Plus, this die was one of my very first purchases from Emma and I still love using today. It's one of my favorites! So I'm over the moon happy that there are mini Original Gourmet Lollipops and that Emma has designed a mini lollipop holder that coordinates with them as well!! It was so much fun working with the original lollipop die holder and the new mini one!

The first project was created with the larger Stitched Lollipop Holder Die. The little ghost was stamped and cut out with the coordinating die from the Too Cute To Spook Stamp Set. I stamped on the little face, also from this set. I added a couple of white gel pen accents and Glossy Accents to the eyes. I stamped and cut out two little orange bows that are from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Set. I put a little bit of glitter on the bow and topped it with Glossy Accents. I finished the ghost by chalking the cheeks

I cut out the Stitched Lollipop Holder Die in an orange card stock. I then embellished the top with a pretty black Scalloped Stitched Rosette. I then layered a fun orange spider web that was cut out using the Wicked Fun Dies. Then I added the cute little ghosts in the center.

Next, I cut out the little Boo Die in black card stock. I added it to the bottom of the lollipop holder. I then glittered it up and added Glossy Accents on top of it. Once everything was dried, I added a yummy Pumpkin Latte Original Gourmet Lollipop to the center and tied it up with some orange twine. Now it is all ready to be a spooktacular treat for someone!

Products Used:

Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Glossy Accents
Clear: Wink of Stella
White Gelly Roll Pen
Bazzill Card Stock
Recollections Card Stock
Inkadinkado Chalk Ink
American Crafts: Orange Twine

I first cut out the little kitty cat using a die from the Spooky Time Stamp Set. The two little eyes were cut out using the new Mini Stitched Lollipop die and some silver glitter paper. I just used the little pieces that were left over from the string holes and then used a Copic marker to make them yellowish. I glittered the body up with Wink of Stella and then added Glossy Accents on top.

I cut out the Mini Stitched Lollipop Holder in black card stock. I stamped on the die cut with the word stamp from the Spooky Time Stamp Set. I did so with an embossing ink and powder. I then embellished the top with a Scalloped Stitched Rosette. Then layered a vellum spider web that was cut out using the wicked fun dies. I cut it down to size to fit the smaller rosette. I added the little kitty cat to the center.

I stamped the sentiment onto the little Teeny Tag and embellished it with orange twine. I filled the center of the lollipop holder with a yummy mini Cherry Cheesecake Original Gourmet Lollipop. Now this one is also ready to be a spooktacular treat for someone this Halloween. I think I know a couple of my kiddos who may have dibs on these already.

My Creative Time: Inspire Me Wednesday: Thank you

Hi, today is Inspire Me Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog. I have a very special card to share today that is not only a thank you card but also a sweet memento. I just had a little girl a little over a week ago and my mom has been here helping us out. So I wanted to create a card for her letting her know how much we appreciate her and all she has done. I also wanted it to have a personal touch from my daughter. So this project was inspired by my daughter as well as this card I found on Pinterest

I first cut out a small white card stock mat using the. I then used non-toxic embossing ink and inked up her little foot. I stamped her little foot image on the mat and sprinkled some sparkly pink embossing powder on top. I then stamped the "thank you" sentiment on the bottom of the mat from the You Are A Blessing stamp set. I then added a small pink heart to the foot print image that was cut out by using the Stitched Heart Layering Dies. I added Glossy Accents and Wink of Stella to the heart.

I layered the white mat with a pink mat that was also cut out using the More Stitched Rectangular Dies. I layered the smaller pink mat with a Stitched Postage Frame Die cut that was cut out once in white card stock and once in vellum. They were layered together and then added to the back of the small pink mat. The Stitched Postage die cut was then layered with a larger pink mat that was cut out using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies. Then a white card base was added to the back of the larger pink mat. The card was then finished by adding four little sequins.

My Creative Time: Whatever Wednesday

Hi today is Whatever Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog. My son's birthday is today and he collects Pokemon cards. So I decided to create a pikachu birthday card for him using my MCT goodies to modify a cutting file.

I first created the little Pokemon ball by loosely following these wonderful punch art directions from the Chic n' Scratch blog.  I had to make mine smaller to fit the card I was creating. I used the More Stitched Circle Dies to cut three same sized circles out in red, white, and black card stock. I cut the red one in half and cut a strip out of the black one. I then used a smaller circle die to cut out another little black circle. I glued the red half onto the white and then the black strip on top of the red half. Next, I glued the small black circle on the black strip. Then I used the small circle die from the Build A Banner Stamp set to add another white card stock circle to the small black circle. This completed the look of the Pokemon ball.

I cut out the little pikachu cutting file and put it all together. I stamped on the little nose, added some white gel pen accents, and topped some of the parts with Glossy Accents. I had to cut away the heart to add the little pokemon ball to the cutting file. Next, I cut out the little birthday hat using the Party Hat Dies. I modified the strips by cutting them down to add both of them towards the top the hat. Then I cut out two little hat toppers in red and white. I glued them together and then added them to the top of the hat. I added a little enamel dot to the center.

I cut out the yellow card stock mat using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies. The blue polka dotted pattern paper was cut out using the More Stitched Rectangular Dies. I then added the white card base to the back of the yellow mat. I stamped on the "Happy Birthday" to the bottom of the card using a sentiment from the Greatest Handyman Stamp Set. I used embossing ink and white embossing powder to make it stand out from the blue back ground paper.  Then I added the little birthday pikachu to the card.

I finished the card by adding a few little fun confetti die cuts that were cut out using a die from the Make A Wish Stamp Set.  I also added a bit of Wink of Stella to the confetti and the party hat to add some sparkle to the card.
