My Creative Time: Throwback Thursday

Hello and welcome to another Throwback Thursday over on the My Creative Time Blog. Today we are sharing some projects made with some older but still great MCT products. I decided to make a card featuring the Surprised Pop-Out Card along with some other great MCT products. 

       

The card base was cute out using the Surprised Pop-Out Card and a pretty double sided floral paper. A large white oval was cut out using the Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies.  The sentiment was stamped onto the oval using the Just A Note Stamp Set.  The oval was accented with two pretty flowers from the Flower Petal Dies.  The flower centers were cut out using the Flower Border Die and they were topped with Glossy Accents. The one side of the card was embellished with a bit of white twine. A quick simple card made with a few great dies!

The Ghost Lollipop Holder was first cut out in white card stock. Then one of the adorable face dies from this set was used to cut out the happy ghost face. The face was backed with a piece of black card stock. Then Glossy Accents was layered onto the eyes and mouth. The word "boo" was added to the bottom of the lollipop holder and clear Wink of Stella was added to the sentiment for a bit of sparkle. The sentiment from the Teeny Tag Holidays was carefully stamped onto a little bag die cut from the Classy Girl Accessories.  It is meant to look like he is going trick-or-treating with his little bag.

My Creative Time: 82nd Edition Release: Blog Hop

Today I am showcasing the new freebie for the release called Pumpkin Face Die.

Two treat boxes were cut out using the Stitched Favor Box Die. Then the Pumpkin Face Die was used to cut the Jack-O-Lantern Face out of each treat box. The tabs of the treat boxes were colored brown using a Copic Marker. The leaves were cut out using one of the Stitched Leaves Dies.  The little spiders were cut out using a die from the Witch Hat Topper Die.  A white gel pen was used to create the little eyes. Then a little orange tea light was placed inside to create the Halloween Luminary.

My Creative Time: 82nd Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 4

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the My Creative Time: 82nd Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the new Coffin Treat Pocket Die and the new Open If You Dare Stamp Set. They coordinate so well together!

The coffin and pocket were cut out using the new Coffin Treat Pocket Die  The pocket was also cut out in white card stock and then the spider web was cut out by hand. A layer of black card stock was put behind the spider web so it is no longer see through. The sentiment and the little spider were stamped onto some layering die cut labels from the new Open If You Dare Stamp Set.  The skeleton from the Frightful Greetings Stamp Kit was cut out and accented with a Copic marker. It was then glued onto a mini Hershey's bar and added to the pocket. Unfortunately, the skeleton is no longer available as it was a part of a limited edition kit.

My Creative Time: 82nd Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 3

Hello and welcome to day 3 of the My Creative Time: 82nd Edition Release. Today we are sneaking a fun Witch Hat Topper Die. This will look so cute on top of the Halloween goodie bags or even as a mini card.

The witch hat, hat accessories, and the spider were all cut out using the new Witch Hat Topper Die.  The little spider's body was colored in with a Copic marker. The eyes were cut out using a dies from the Hello Chickie Stamp Set.  The sentiment from the new Witchie Witchie Stamp Set was stamped onto the hat using embossing ink and powder. The hat was then added to the top of a 3x4 clear baggie filled with some Halloween Pumpkin Peeps.

My Creative Time: 82nd Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the My Creative Time: 82nd Edition Release. Today we are sneaking a wonderful new stamp set called Witchie Witchie. This set has some fun Halloween themed dies along with so many great coordinating sentiments.

Two little tombstones were cut out using dies from the new Witchie Witchie Stamp Set.  Then they were each stamped with a coordinating stamp. Using a smaller tombstone die, each tombstone was dry embossed to show the stitching. One of the tombstones had the word "Eek!" cut out of it and the sentiment "Happy Halloween" stamped on the front of it. The sentiments were then embellished with some little bats that were cut out using the Wicked Fun Dies.  The grass was cut out using one of the Pretty Edge Dies. It was then added to the bottom of the tombstones.

The Mini Gift Box Die was used to cut out the center of the tombstone treat box. The tall sides were folded down inside to create a square box. The tombstone die cuts were glued on each side of the square box. A small strip of paper cut out and glued to the inside of the box to create a handle. A small bag of candy corn was added to the box for a sweet treat.

Hello and welcome to day 1 of the My Creative Time: 82nd Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the adorable Pumpkin Face Die. This die is the fabulous freebie for the new release.

The cute little treat box was cut out using the Mini Gift Box Die.  The fun Pumpkin Face was added to the one side before putting it together. The sentiment from the Teeny Tags Holiday Greetings was stamped onto the Teeny Tags Layering Die cuts. The little stem was cut out using a Cricut cartridge. A hole was cut in the stem using a Crop-A-Dile tool. Then the whole thing was tied together. The inside of the little box was filled with Crinkled paper and Hershey's kisses.
