Welcome to Day #2 of the Peachy Keen Stamps sneak peeks for the February Release!
These new stamps are amazing and will make you feel right at home!
We have changed things up a bit, and we invite you join us each day (the 1st through the 4th) for sneak peeks of our February Release. Posts go live early, at 5:00 a.m. CST, so you can start your day with a smile, and it all leads up to our Release and Reveal Blog Hop on the 5th.
Now, it wouldn’t be sneak peek week without a prize, right?
Leave a comment on all the sneak peek posts on the PKS blog and the Designer’s Blogs this week for a chance to win THE ENTIRE RELEASE! That’s right – one lucky guy or gal will win all 8 sets in this release! You have through 2/4 at 11:59 pm CST to comment on all posts. Winner will be announced on our blog hop post on 2/5.
Today, we are sharing creations made with the two new add on sets: Wright Ave. and Scallop Rooftop Background.
When I saw them I knew immediately that I had to make a scene card with them.
I was so happy to use only scrap pieces on this!! I really want to get better at using them on projects.
So here is what I came up with:
I cut the base out for the card and added white gel pen stitching. Next, I stamped and paper pieced the house, trees, fence, flowers, sidewalk, and clouds. I colored several of the pieces with Copic markers and Colorbox ink.
Next, I stamped the scallop rooftop background onto a green strip of card stock to give the look of grass.
Once I finished getting them together, I created the little scene on the card.
I added some final touches to the card by adding a bit of twine I got as a sample from Timeless Twine and a little heart cut out from a My Creative Time Die.
I wanted to take a picture outside of the light box to show the glossy accents on the window.
All products used:
Lorie Whitlock card base
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Colorbox Classic Colors
Copic Markers
Glossy Accents
Time Less Twine
My Creative Time Stitched Layering hearts
White Gelly Roll Pen
Scraps from my bin
Thank you so much for stopping by!! Please head over to the Peachy Keen Blog to see more fabulous sneak peeks from the DT! Also, please make sure you come hop with us on Wednesday when we share the full reveal!
