My Creative Time 31st Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 31st Release Blog Hop! If you have made it here from the talented Ruthie's blog then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way please head on over to Emma's Blog for the full hop order.

This release is off of the charts amazing!! Emma has done it again! I get the privilege of creating and sharing a project featuring "Main Street". So here is what I came up with!

When I first saw "Mainstreet" I thought of Batman. So I knew I had to create a project using these buildings and the Dark Night.

I stamped and paper pieced four buildings. Then I colored in the windows with a Copic marker. I did the same with the winding road. I used part of one building to create a taller tier for the skyline.

I then cut out the yellow oval using the MCT: Suprise Pop-Out Card Die. I stamped on the sentiments from MCT: Way To Go Stamp Set and MCT: Fly Away With Me Sentiments Stamp Set. I free handed the beam of light and glued it onto the oval to create the look of the batman signal in the sky.

I then cut out two clouds from the MCT: Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies.

Though it is really hard to see, I added some grass at the bottom of the card using MCT: Stitched Grass Die.

To finish I cut out the batman from PRPP: Superheros Trio SVG and added a PKS: In the Garden face.
