Welcome Friends to the Peachy Keen Stamps Halloween Release for 2014.
The time has FINALLY arrived! We’re here and we’re ready to get hopping! We’ve shared four fabulous days of sneak peeks with you and we’ve been as exited as we could be for the time when we could show you EVERYTHING! If you’re a Stamp of the Month Club member then you’ve already had a look at the SOTM set. All of these perfectly coordinated stamps are NOW available in the Peachy Keen Shop, and even better, you can grab all your favorites from the August Release at 20% off. SWEET!!
You should have arrived here from Gigi's Blog, if you’re hopping along in the set order, but if you just happened upon this post then you can go back to the beginning at The Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and start from there so you don’t miss any wonderful project.
This whole release is so spectacular! If any one can make zombies look cute, it's Kathy! I think they are the cutest little zombies I've ever seen! I just knew I had to create a project using them.
NOW share my project for the hop!
I just knew I wanted to create a graveyard and I found the perfect cut file from SVG cutting files to go along with Kathy's amazing creations.
I first cut out each piece of the cut file with various card stock I had. I added white chalk ink to the trees, the base, and fence.
I then added the amazingly creepy sentiments and images from PK-Ye Old Boneyard, PK-Halloween Sentiments and Labels, and PK-August 2014 Stamp of the Month Set to the tombstones and then inked the sides with black memento ink.
I then colored and cut out each zombie kid from PK-Faceless Zombie Kids 1 and 2 by Jessica Weible. Their faces are from the new amazing PK-Zombie Face Assortment. I took a bit of black ink and dirtied them up a bit with it. I then added them to the trees.
I finished by adding the label and sentiment from PK-Halloween Sentiments and Labels anto the front of the fence.
It is meant for cupcakes to go in it but I thought Halloween candy was more appropriate for this project.
