MCT: Designer's Challenge

Hi, today we have a Designer's Challenge over on the My Creative Time blog based on the picture below. You can create a project using inspiration from the photo, the colors, or whatever inspires you from it.

So here is what I came up with.

I found this little bucket in the dollar section at Target. I wish I could have made a luminary but this will have to do. I first cut the pumpkin face from an svg in black card stock. I used Modge Podge to adhere it to the bucket. To create the eye balls, I used a larger circle from MCT: Picture Perfect and a smaller circle from MCT: Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves

I added a trim to the top of the bucket using MCT: Fun Stitched Edges and orange card stock. I added Recollection's Faux Jewels to the trim.

I cut out the super cute little ghost from MCT: Stitched Spooky Ghost Dies. I added a Peachy Keen Stamps: Cutie Pie face and chalked the cheeks. I added the ghost as well as a spider web from MCT: Wicked Fun Dies to a paper stray that also came from the Target dollar section.

Next, I stamped the "Happy Halloween" sentiment onto the tag from MCT: Teeny Tag Greeting Stamp Set. I then tied it to the straw using American Crafts Black and White twine.

I filled the bucket with black present paper and some yummy treats. I then stuck my decorated straw in the middle and now it is ready to be a spooktacular gift for Halloween!

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Please head on over to the My Creative Time Blog to see the rest of the design team's amazing creations!!
