PPRR: Guest Designer

Hi, I am so excited to Guest Design for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!! I just love their adorable cut files!!

For the card base, I used PPPR: A2 Card Bases 1 Cutting Files. Love having these card bases!! They make creating a card so much easier!! The pink paper is Recollection's and the pattern paper is Bazzil. I also added a bit of ribbon from my stash to embellish it.

The oh so adorable hippo and birdie were cut from PPPR: Safari Love 2 Cutting Files. There are so many cute animals in this set!! Love them all! Though I just knew I wanted to create this fun birthday card using the hippo and his adorable little sidekick.

I used Peachy Keen Stamps: Tear Kitty Face Parts to stamp the eyes on the hippo. I used Peachy Keen Stamps: Chickie Face Assortment for the cute little birdie's face. His little hat was stamped and paper pieced from Peachy Keen Stamps: Lil' Tweets Birthday. I colored his hat in with Copic markers. I chalked both of their cheeks and mouths with Inkadinkado chalk ink and added white gel pen accents.

I cut out the sentiment using a label die cut from Jaded Blossom and pop dotted it onto the card. I then finished the card by adding some Recollection's Enamel Dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful crafty day!!
