Hi and welcome back to day 3 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 45th Edition Release. Today we are showcasing the new You’re a Great Catch & Find Joy In The Little Things (Freebie). I have a simple card to share using the You’re a Great Catch.
When I saw this set I just knew I wanted to create a fish bowl with all of my MCT goodies. For the base of my card, I used Bunch of Fun Circle dies. I used the Stitched Oval die to create the top of the fish bowl. I then stamped the sentiment onto the oval. I used a smaller circle to create the water of the fish bowl. I used a fun new water ripple die from the new You're A Great Catch on the top. I used another water ripple die to create the sand look in the bottom of the bowl.
I stamped and colored the goldfish with plain old Crayola markers. I used them for yesterday's flowery card as well. When you don't have your Copics with you, you got to do what you got to do! Hee Hee! I stamped the plant and cut it out with the coordinating die. I added glossy accents to both of them.
I then added a few blue sequins to simulate bubbles in a tank. There are bubble stamps in the new set but I decided to used sequins to jazz the card up a bit.
