My Creative Time: 44th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 4

Hi and welcome to the 4th day of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 44th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the adorable new Hello Baby and this months freebie, "Baby" word die.

I first cut out a card base using the cute little onesies die from this new set. Then I cut out another onsies in pink card stock. I embossed it with a Darice folder. I apologize that I don't know the correct name of the folder.

I stamped and colored the super adorable little giraffe using Copic markers. I then added the little bow from the You Had Me At Meow stamp set and the tiny heart also from the Hello Baby set.

I added the onesies accents pieces. Then I added one of the beautiful new doilies with a pretty Scallop Stitched Rosette on top. I had to add a small circle from the Build a Banner set to cover up the hole in the center. Then I glued the little giraffe onto the scallop. 

I used the wonderful new Baby die, which just happens to be this month's freebie. Then I finished the card by adding some pearl sequins to the onesies.

A cute by simple baby card! Would be great as a gift bag tag as well.

My Creative Time: 44th Edition Release: Sneak Peek Day 3

 Hi and welcome to day 3 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 44th Edition Release. 

Today we are showcasing the beautiful Already Missing You stamp set. Aren't these flamingos so pretty?!! I think so!!

I first cut out a aqua blue card stock rectangle using the Stitched Rectangular Frame dies. I then used the Watercolor background stamps with Versamark Ink and Recollection's Snow embossing powder to create a fun background.

I cut out a pretty Stitched Doily in a lighter shade of blue. Then I used a large circle punch to cut out the center. I placed a yellow circle in the cut out to look like the sun. I stamped and colored the two pretty flamingos, from the new set, with Copic markers. I cut out another doily in the aqua card stock and then cut out the waves using the Make a Splash die. I then accents the scallops with bright pink sequins.

I tied American Crafts twine onto the rectangle and accented it with the beautiful flower. I colored it as well with Copic markers. 

I stamped the sentiment onto a label from the Fun Stitched Tag dies. Then accented it with more bright pink sequins.

Now I want to take off on a tropical vacation!!

MCT: 44th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day #1

Hi and welcome to day 1 of sneak peeks for the amazing My Creative Time's 44th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking the beautiful new Bunch of Stitched Doily dies. So glad that Emma came out with more beautiful doilies. 

For my card base, I used the scallop circle from Bunch of Fun Circle dies. I then used Stitched Doily die to layer on the scallop. Next, I layered three sizes of the new Bunch of Stitched Doily dies as well. 

I stamped on the sentiment from the Shine Bright stamp set using Versamark ink along with Recollection's gold embossing powder. 

I then cut out three flowers using the Jr. Rolled Flower dies. After I put them together, I added gold Stickles to the end of the petals. I adhered them onto the card and accented them with a couple of leaves cut out using the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves dies.

I finished the card by adding a few gold sequins from my stash.

My Creative Time: What A Treat Wednesday

Hi, today is What a Treat Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog and I have a simple Father's day gift bag to share. 

I first cut out two white card stock gift bag pieces using the new Chalkboard Birthday stamp set die. I then used the little three little mustache stamps from the Here's Lookin' At You stamp set to create a custom background on the gift bag.

I cut out a gift card holder in white card stock using the Stiched Gift Card Pocket die and stamped on the same background to match the bag. I then adhered it to one side of the bag and then glued the entire bag together. Love that the pocket fits perfectly onto the bag.

I stamped the little "Cool Dad" from the Fun Tickets stamp set onto the Stitched Fun Ticket die cuts. I ran black ribbon through the gift bag for handles and then tied the ticket onto the ribbon with black twine.

I stamped on the "Happy Father's Day" also from the Here's Lookin' At You stamp set onto a Fun Stitched Tag label die. I accented it with silver sequins from my stash. 

I added the gift card along with some white tissue paper.

My Creative Time: Design Team Challenge

Hi, today is a brand new Designer's Challenge over on the My Creative Time blog. You can create a project of your choice using the Sketch, Colors, or Photo OR any combination of the three for inspiration. You can find them at the bottom of the post. 

I first cut out the adorable little doggy from the Loyal Friends stamp set. I stamped on the face from the same set and modified it using one of the mouths from the new You Make Life Sweet stamp set. I used a sunglasses die from the Winter Snowman dies to help create the cool surfer dog look. I chalked the cheeks and added white gel pen accents. 

I cut out the surfboard using a die from the Surf's Up stamp set and the waves were cut using the Make a Splash die. I stamped the sentiment onto the waves from the also from the Surf's Up stamp set using Versamark ink and Recollection's Snow embossing powder.

The sun was cut out using a couple of the dies from the Build a Banner stamp set. I added a small American Crafts twine to it.

For the base of my card along with the pattern paper mats, I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame dies.

I finished the card by adding some gold sequins from my stash.

My Creative Time: Scrapping the Little Things

Hi, today is Scrapping the Little Things over on the My Creative Time blog. For my project, I created a Smash Book page of my daughter's first birthday smash cake. She had frosting absolutely every where!! It was so cute to see her have her first cake. 

I first added the little banner using the Fun Stitched Tag dies. Then added the "You make life sweet birthday girl" from the new Sweet Wishes stamp set. I added glossy accents on the word "sweet". 

I then matted my pictures with bright pink Recollection's card stock and then added white gelly roll pen stitched to the edges.

I then created the adorable little cupcake using the stamps and dies from the new Light the Candles stamp and die set.  I added the cutie patootie face to it using a stamp from another new set, You Make Life Sweet. I colored the candle in with Copic markers. I chalked the cheeks and added white gel pen accents. I finished the cupcake's look by adding a cute little American Crafts twine bow. 

I stamped on the fun birthday word art stamp from the new Chalkboard Birthday stamp and die set. I colored in the candles with Copic markers as well. 

I then added some other journal sentiments using the Alpha Pack stamp set. Love having these different options for the alphabet to create your own sayings. 

I added a couple of hearts using the Stitched Layering Hearts and an arrow from the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow, and Tag dies. 

I finished the page by adding a few pearl sequins from my stash.

My Creative Time: Do Over Thursday

Hi, today is Do Over Thursday over on the My Creative Time blog! 

I didn't dislike my first birthday bag but I wanted go in a different direction this time. I wanted to use a similar tag the first time, however, it covered up too much of the sentiment and at the time, I was dead set on using that particular stamp. So now on to my revised birthday bag.

I found these two pack gift bags at Michael's in the dollar section and just new I wanted to eventually make something with them. I love the pattern with the beautiful coral with a hint of gold, pink, and white! So I cut them down as I had with my other bag to be able to fit them into my Cuttlebug. Then I cut out two bag pieces using the new Chalkboard Birthday Stamp and Die set. 

I cut out a Vellumn label using a die from the Love To Learn set. I then stamped on the word art birthday sentiment also from the Chalkboard Birthday Stamp and Die set. I used Versamark ink along with Recollection's Gold embossing Powder. I glued the corners down with Glossy Accents and then covered them up with tiny stars from the 4x4 Journal Die and More set. 

I first used the candle cupcake outlined die from the new Light the Candles stamp set to create the gift tag base. I then used the other cupcake dies along with the cupcake stamp to create the rest of the cupcake for the tag. I colored the candle in with Copic markers. I also used the Versamark ink and Recollection's Gold embossing powder to stamp on the sprinkles and candle. I stamped on the inside of the cupcake tag using the Just Tags Stamp and Die set. 

I added the handles that I cut off of the bags and glued the bag together. I tied the tag to the handle with some gold twine I had in my stash. I then added a lot of tissue paper this time. I wish I would have used more on my first bag.
