Hi and welcome to the My Creative Time: 70th Edition Release Blog Hop.
If you have made it here from Brigit's blog then you are in the right place. If you have just stopped by or have gotten lost along the way, please head on over to Miss Emma's blog for the full hop order.
Today I am showcasing the new Spooky & Creepy Night Stamp Set.
The little treat box was cut out of orange card stock using the Stitched Favor Box Die. The scary pumpkin face from the Spooky & Creepy Night was stamped onto the Stitched Favor Box Die using embossing ink and black embossing powder. The tab of the favor box die was cut out four times in brown card stock to cover the orange tab to make it look like the stem of the pumpkin. The little leaves are from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies. The little curls were created by cutting tiny strips of green card stock and using a quilling tool to curl them. The little ghost and his face are both from the Spooky & Creepy Night. The sentiment from the Bat Sentiments (Release Freebie), was stamped onto the ghost as well. Then the plastic covering was removed from a bread tie wire. The wire was curled a bit and then glued onto the back of the ghost die cut. The little wire was stuck in between one of the tabs for easy removal when opening the treat box. I also wanted to create the look of the ghost floating above the little pumpkin.
