Peachy Keen Stamps:: February Release Sneak Peeks Day #3

Good morning! Welcome to Day 3 of sneak peeks for the Peachy Keen Stamps February release.

FEB-RELEASE_color_ad

Today we are showcasing the Kawaii Face Assortment and Tropical Vacation Kitty Cat.

They are both out of this world cute!! I just adore these new faces!!

So let me share with you what I created!

I was going through my scrap stash and found this the other day. I thought it would be perfect with these adorable new Peachy Keen Stamps. I haven't altered one of these mailboxes in a long time. I purchased it at Target a few years back for a dollar. I believe they still sell them.

So here is what it looks like before alterations.

I first covered the midsection with a piece of  pattern paper from DCWV's Sunday Afternoon. I covered up the edges with adhesive ribbon from American Crafts.

Next, I stamped and paper pieced the sentiment stamp from the new PKSC: February 2014 SOTM kit. I then cut out a banner from a My Creative Time die and altered it to fit the flag. Then I pop dotted the sentiment stamp on top.

Since the ends are removable, I traced each one on the same paper, cut them out, and glued them on.

For the front decorations: The little girl was cut out from an SVG cutting file set and I added an adorable new Peachy Keen: Kawaii Face on her. Her little bows and letter she is holding comes from the new February SOTM kit. For the envelope she is holding, I shaded the edges with a Copic marker and added a small heart from a My Creative Time Die. I finished it by added a bit of Spritz twine.

For the side decorations: I stamped and paper pieced the little mailbox from the new February SOTM kit. I added the sentiment to it. Lastly, I added another adorable Kawaii Face to it. Once again I finished it off by adding a bit of twine.

Since it's happy mail, I had to add some goodies inside!! I really tried to emulate the sentiment "Piles of Smiles from me to you, Piles of Smiles and kisses too". So I added adorable smiles from the PK Kawaii face assortment onto Hersey  kisses. Also, I added a few more envelopes with different sentiments from the new SOTM kit.
