Hi, today is Trending Now over on the My Creative Time Blog. The trend for today is Animal Lovers. We are to create a project that incorporates an animal on it. I decided to uses a couple of the cute animals from the Fall Friends Stamp Set.
The raccoon, fox, and tree stump were all stamped and cut out with coordinating dies from the Fall Friends Stamp Set. The little grass was stamped and cut out with coordinating dies from the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set. The little flowers were stamped and cut out with a coordinating die from the So Many Books Stamp Set. All of the images were colored in with Copic Markers. Glossy Accents was added to the critters eyes and noses as well as the flower centers.
A green Stitched Square mat was cut out and then cut down with an edge from the More Stitched Edges die set to create the little hills. The blue Stitched Square mat was cut out and then it was dry embossed with a smaller Stitched Square for a more unique background. It was then matted with a white card stock mat that was cut out with a paper trimmer. The card base and Kraft mat were also cut out with the largest Stitched Square die.
The three sizes of clouds were cut out using the Fun Stitched Cloud Dies. The clouds were all inked around the edges with a baby blue ink. The sentiment that was stamped onto the largest cloud was a combination of two sentiment stamps from the Fall Friends Stamp Set. They were pop dotted onto the card as well as the fox and the raccoon.
