A Tribute To Ginger (My Sisters Scrapper)

Hello. Today I have a project to share that was inspired by and in honor of my design team sister, Ginger (My Sisters Scrapper). Ginger passed away peacefully and gained her angel wings at the end of September. She was an amazing person and well loved by her family, friends, and the crafting community. She created some of the most beautiful projects and was so incredibly talented. I loved her use of beautiful papers, flowers, and embellishments. I truly wish I had her eye for creativity!

For my project, Ginger inspired me to create a banner. She made some of the best banners and some were downright gorgeous. I didn't have any Graphic 45 papers like she loved to use but I tried to find some pretty floral papers that reminded me of the pretty ones she created with. I plan to hang it up in my new crafting space once I have it all put together. I will always be able to look at it and think of her.

The tags were cut out and then a coordinating layer was cut out as well. The rosettes were cut out to match the tag layers. Pretty doilies from one of Ginger's favorite MCT die sets (Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies) were glued onto the rosettes. Then a coordinating letter was adhered on top of the doily.

The tags were embellished with a pretty flower and a butterfly. The flowers and the butterflies were each embellished with a pearl sticker. Each tag was clipped onto the twine with a baby wooden clothes pin. The pins were embellished with a twine bow and pearl stickers.

I really enjoyed creating this in honor of our dear design team sister, Ginger. Though I would have loved to be creating with her instead. Her inspiration was beyond measure and will spark creativity for years to come.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

I hope you might visit Ginger's blog to see how inspirational she was and maybe her passion for creativity will inspire you too.
