MCT: 47th Edition Release: Sneak Peeks Day 4

Hi, and welcome to day 4 of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time: 47th Edition Release. Today we are sneaking a fabulous new treat die called the Stitched Treat Sleeve Die along with the fun Dec25 Freebie Die for this release.

I'm so excited that Emma created another treat die!! I wanted to share a couple of examples I created using these beautiful new dies. I wanted to keep them very simple because that way they would be easier to mass produce if you wanted to make up a bunch for a party or for whatever occasion you needed a lot. I really like how they turned out.

I first used the new Stitched Treat Sleeve Die to cut Parchment Paper out for the lovely Chocolate Chip cookies I made with my son. After I adhered them together, I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the treat sleeves. For the Christmas themed one I used the Cuttlebug Large Snowflakes Embossing Folder. The love themed one was embossed with the Cuttlebug Ben-Day Dots Embossing Folder. I learned that Parchment Paper is not the easiest to get your adhesive to stick too.  Though I made it work somehow. I then cut out the Stitched Belly Band Dies for each one. I used the Belly Band Stamps and the Stitched Belly Band Dies to embellish the front of the cookie sleeves. I cut the pretty new Dec25 Freebie Die using red sparkly paper and adhered it to the label. I also embellished them with twine and little diamond gems. I filled the sleeves with some Crinkle Shreds I got at the Dollar Store and then added the yummy cookies.
