Hi, today is Made in Minutes over on the My Creative Time blog. I have a cute and super easy to make gift card holder I created using some fabulous MCT products. Plus, I got to use my scraps that I've had sitting around on it. Always nice to use them up.
I first cut out the Embossed Gift Holder out of Recollection's Kraft card stock. I then cut out a layer of the blue card stock and then a layered on the We R Memory Keepers' Happy Camper pattern paper.
I then first stamped and cut out the cute little ice cream cone using the coordinating die from the You Make Life Sweet Stamp Set. I then used more dies from this set to cut out the ice cream and embossed cone layers. Before, I adhered them onto my original stamped ice cream image, I stamped on the adorable little face also from this set. Once I had all the pieces together, I added a cute little bow to the cone from the You Had Me At Meow Stamp Set. I added a bit of Wink of Stella (clear) to the bow and added white gel pen stitching to the eyes. I then added glossy accents to the bow and the eyes.
I stamped the sentiment on the gift card holder using Fun Vertical Greetings (Revised) Stamp Set. I used Versamark Ink along with Recollection's Snow Embossing Powder to make it stand out better on the Kraft card stock. I also added a small circle to the gift card holder that was cut out from the Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies. Then I finished the card by adding four silver sequins to the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!
